@MiesterDX cemu the wiiu emulator is perfect. The wiiu was xbox360 and PS3 levels of power. I'd give it a shot before knocking it. It's easy to setup everything as well
Great primer. I haven't paid enough attention to the mechanics of TTT2 so activating a Tag Assault was lost on me. Didn't realize it was tied to bounds.
I need to get this game, it looks so freaking awesome. The original Tekken Tag is still one of my all time favorite fighters, and I have no doubt this one will be a new fave
I assume the music in the background is from Tekken as you, Max, usually use in game OST's... but I can't help but be reminded of the music from Enter the Dragon. Good shit. Can't wait to rip in to this game.
First helpful TT2 video I've seen... Thank you so much. FInally picked up the game and the tag system is really confusing to me. I would like to see a video with more depth. For instance, can tag assaults only be activated through bound attacks? Can you decide to keep your tag partner in the fight during a tag assault, as oppose to switching back to yourr first character, and if so, HOW?! But thank you so much for this video.
Correction. I'm pretty sure rage comes up when the HP hits a certain point, not when they're hit by a tag combo. You currently had Heihachi as solo, and when you play Solo you activate rage multiple times in a single round once your HP hits certain levels.
Between you and Aris I'm pretty covered for TTT2. I'm waitin to hear the differences between Tiger Jackson and Chreddy. I'll pick it up next week.......
I was referring to how the other day Max made a video about the 6 leaked characters on disc and no one knew if they were unlockable or downloaded. The leaked characters seem to also be DLC I mean
quick advanced question. I changed my tag button on my xbox controller (right top bumber) so my only way of tagging is with the right analog stick. I need the top buttons switched to combination of buttons because my hands are small. So i can still tag out, but to do the tag where you are getting beat up and your partner has rage and jumps in is impossible at this point as far as i know? unless someone knows how to use the analog stick to do so, which would be awesome
Tag Throws - easily broken at high-level gameplay Tag Assaults - a safer alternative to raw tag-ins, but its main use is to deal high-damage combos and end rounds/matches Tag Buffer - also safer than raw tag-ins, used for combos that deplete recoverable health Tag Crash - THE quickest and usually safest way to tag in, but is at the cost of active character's red health and the cost of being linear (it CAN be sidestepped)
Also Max, you should talk in tekken format, left punch=1, right punch=2, left kick =3, right kick=4 and tag=5. It might take some time getting used to it but trust me, it make things more easier to explain.
true that! maybe you or someone else knows..is the online the same in terms of teaming up? can i team up with a friend online and play other teams or solo players??
I love this game series personally but my money is saved for another fighter coming this month that hasn't been seen on the fighting scene for a good 5-6 years now you know it! DoA 5 babeeee hope to see you on it Max :) psn verison ofc !
Another example would be Guile. He's a defensive character in SF. That may translate to giving him some moves that sidestep or generally move him out of the harm's way that have bad start up. The moves would be good to throw out when you're being attacked but too slow to start an offense. I honestly think most of the "classic" moves for the Street Fighters will be juggle only moves.....
I got two preorder codes, one to redeem on the market place and other for the tekken web, but when i go to redeem my code at tekken(dot)com/bonus i get a error.
Yeah, but I'm really interested to see how Ryu would perform a juggle. I'm guessing they would have to make up additional moves for him? Or maybe it'll one of those cases where the juggle is performed by repeating the same moves over and over again.
