Thank you so much Tom. Your very intuitive analogy has finally triggered my AHA! moment with the Miller capacitance. This power electronics series is great and can't wait for the next video.
It's weird...I haven't directly thought about that is quite a long time...but I kind of automatically calculate it in when I am running the circuits through my head. My Grandpa...the one that start teaching me all this when I was a kid...was always amazed at how I could "see" everything in my mind's eye and kept it there. I used to frustrate my math teachers the same way...I never use my "scratch" paper...just did it in my head...but they couldn't see the way I did it. One even thought I was using a calculator...so I took the 12th grade test (I was in 6th grade) right in front of the teacher...all correct plus bonus...she never doubted me again :)
Great video Sir, could you list the part number for the power MOSFET and the resistor values? I would like to put together a LTspice model and simulate for you. I may have missed the information in an earlier video. Thank you.
@@tomtektest8042 Sir, your thoughts on the cgs cgd and cds, I was thinking about 10 pf for the cgs and cgd value and 100 pf for cds? Let me double check on the MODFET, IRLZ234N OR IRLZ34N?
