As I see you set 01`000.011`620`000kHz on FY6900 but scope show 1.000MHz, sometimes few hertz lower... This can be resolve very easy and you can adjust frequency offset on FY6900 to spot on. FY6900 have hidden menu for this... In the same time push and hold Power Button and CH1 button then, when you hold that butons, power on FY6900 from back main switch. After FY6900 power up go to menu, push MORE and at the bottom (OSCI) you can to adjust frequency offset. When you adjust frequency you can see in real time on scope what you adjusting. e.g. Set FY6900 to 1kHz/5V and scope need to read that frequency but not, go to menu and fix that frequency offset. When you see on scope exactly 1kHz as you set on FY6900 thats it.
Nice to see some affordable function generators being of decent quality. Was kinda hoping that you'd show some Lissajous patterns, but I guess now that nearly every scope is 2 channel it's not as common. Just cool. Thanks for the video.
I order the FY6900 the other day as my GW Instek GFG_8255 is getting long in the tooth and I need something that can sweep over a wider range of Hz's so I am really enjoying this series. Thanks a lot!!
I just got a Juntek PSG9080 and noticed that I cannot change the amplitude with the Ampl. control. I have to change the Offset to get the amplitude to change. Is that normal?
Hello, thank you in advance for the great videos! I own an FY8300s, which should be identical to the Fy6900 in the basic functions. I have a problem using the PC software for the function generator. How can I create my own waveforms and save them. Is it possible to present this in a separate tutorial? Best wishes Helmut
