i have some questions : is the enchant on the ward giving us the 30% dmg and not the life regen ( on the shield ) ? is the time skip really good or some other dm spell can be better ? my kao khan cant do any damage through the action skill... love the build but never seen a 1M dmg :p
The life regen from the enchant becomes shield regen on this build due to the skills selected. The time skip has a HUGE DoT and a very high chance to proc it, the DoT in dark magic keeps the skill Worse Curse active. Also the Pellets from Time Skip can be placed INSIDE enemies for extra damage. Is your Khao Khan elementally matched to your synergies? Make sure you aren't using the wrong element :)
Very interesting, I just got into this game recently and once I found my first deathless, I immediately wanted to do something with it. Looking through the skill trees this is the exact combo I was considering. However, I do have some questions. Most importantly, the life regen part of the build I'm not sure how it's supposed to work. Restore the veil does say that it regens shield instead of health from dark magic and the wyverns from the sword are innate anyways, but for skills like Sanguine Sacrament, it says that it regens health, but does that actually get transfered to shields? There is a mention in the video that it turns into more shields, but I don't see how that is supposed to happen, since Restore the Veil only mentions that the life drain from dark magic applies to shield. Am I missing something? Also another thing that I was thinking of is, would Body Spray be worth testing? I am aware that a lack of an element is a big downside, but we can apply plenty of status effects with other gear/abilities/spells, while restoring 20% of shields per hit seems pretty crazy considering how massive the shield amount can get with a deathless. Either way, thanks for this build, I got some cool ideas from it and I'll probably start a new character for this build soon :)
For the sanguine Sacrament question, it works, you can test it out and the shield regen begins immediately when you cast a spell. No idea why but they seem to have coded that skill as dark magic life regen. Body spray is always worth testing! I haven't gotten a build for it yet, but i love it!
@@GalaktikDragon Thank you for the response and thank you for the testing. I wouldn't have guessed something like that worked, but then again, the more I learn abour ttwl, the more I realize how clunky this game is (not that I blame the devs, they made it during the pandemic), but it can make it more interesting. As for body spray, I'll try it out when I can, I'll just reply to this comment again when I get around to it with my findings (might take a while tho, I don't have a lot of time these days).
what would be your recommendation for myth grind? i am gonna try to make this but my rng in this game is so atrocious that im bout ready to throw the towel in on it. over 200 hours playing and cant get past chaos 15 solo and if someone joins me in local play just forget it as my builds are useless even though ive seen them being op for others... Edit: sooooo i make this build only 3 things different first my sword is plain meaning no status effect and second im missing the shell casing ring and lastly im myth rank 174. apparently that is enough to break this build???? i do not heal AT ALL, my shield just drains away and i die on chaos 15 and 20. granted you have chaos 100 gear which ill apparently NEVER see and 1k+ myth levels so what am i doing wrong or are these builds not doable on the ps5??
Ht builds should work regardless of system or myth rank. I won't lie, the myth rank helps out for sure, but the gear matters more. I think you joined the discord, if that was you, feel free to make a build drop request in Trading.
Hi Galactik ✌️ Love the build and can't wait to go try it but I was asking the same question a few days ago about that shield enchantement and a deathless mantle class mod. Every post (that i've read on reddit ) says that the enchant is not working properly with deathless since the 1hp is considered full hp / not giving the 30% dmg dealt boost. Is it still the case ? Did you find a way around it ? Thanks a lot and great vid once again 😁
Heh... well then. I've not ever had this brought up to me before. On testing... yeah that enchant isn't doing anything now in WL so feel free to replace it! Crazy, it still works in BL3... wonder when that happened.
Would you say this build works below chaos 20? Not with the same gear ofc, but if you want to grind for the items. Or do you basically need all the items for it to work?
Great Question! I would say you don't need all the parts but as you get each one you will notice a dramatic change in your life regen. The build itself has good damage at chaos 20 innately so it should work out for you.
@@GalaktikDragon Thanks for the quick response. If I may ask another question, if I use the deathless mantle armour, Lord of Edges does nothing for me right? Since the game counts my 1 Life as full life, as far as I understood it.
@@narkosfera1421 The way in which your life is set aside doesn't change your max life! It only sets your life to 1. So lord of edges will always be active!
@@GalaktikDragon Thanks again for the response. Really appreciate it. Got lucky and obtained the gluttony from the skeleton chest. Currently at chaos 10 and having a lot of fun. Really strong build and extremely tanky. Still need to get the enchant on the shield, got a similar one as you have and a better deathless mantle to +1 to lord of edges. But for now, great feeling, obelisks are just melting. Got a buffmeister, not sure if it is any good for this particular build, the time skip feels a little awkward to use, because you can barley see it. I assume you just fire it at the feet of enemies on bosses and not using it that much for mobbing.
@@narkosfera1421 right on! The time skip has the best dark magic DoT in the game from a spell on it, so I just for it randomly to keep shield Regen strong.
I think I’ve perfected this build minus the chest piece. Any way that I could join in to dupe it? And would love to discuss the changes that I made that I think made this build better
