@@GossipVal1 mine too, it's so beautiful. the transition from the chorus to the bridge, the echoey lyrics, the subtle bass, the raw force behind the last three words... ugh taylor's mind. also i think the reason this part of your video was what broke me was because i had been listening to this song thinking of ben that i wasn't prepared for five's sequence here. the way you edited it, showing him jumping through time, getting stuck in the damn apocalypse, before falling to his knees at the sight of his destroyed home... it's so simple and so obvious, but it for some reason just really drew my mind to the fact that this is a ~child~, an actual 13 year old boy who just felt a sense of freedom he'd never had before, wants desperately now to go home, and yet that's the one place that's just been ripped from him. no matter how arrogant, how smart, how independent he is, this was likely the one time he was truly terrified, cause he was just a kid.
@@user-sv3po6we3e Yes you're so right, the "just not home" is so powerful and the way it resonates, it's like if you could hear bold print if that makes sense. And it's so tragic what happened to five when you think about it, having to fend for himself and being completely alone for all those years, especially at 13, no one's ready for that. And after that his only goal in both seasons was just to save his family. And he's the one who cares about stopping the apocalypse the most because he's the only one who's actually lived it.

I’m a complete wreck right now! “I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace” fits so well with Ben and “you turned into your worst fears” for vanya! This song is perfect especially for vanya with her being isolated and abused her whole life then hurting everyone by causing the apocalypse. “Look at how my tears ricochet” beautiful! Great job
I loved that you added the Swedes. They are my anti-heroes, their suffering was also cruel and their ends even worse. Also liked the detail of "under the waves" lyric matched the scene of Vanya saving Harlan in the water. I really just enjoyed this edit overall! Picking these scenes must've been tough and they're really thought about. Great edit :)

Damn love, this is brutal. I don't even know all the details, and my heart breaks watching this! No one, and I mean NO ONE, brings out emotions in a video as well as you do. You are such an artist, killing us softly with these powerful masterpieces! I can't even tell you how gorgeous this was. There aren't enough words. I want you to vid every song from Folklore! lol seriously though, this packs quite a punch! I loved the "when I'm screaming at the sky" part with them looking up/the elevated camera angle. I don't know why that part stood out to me so much, but of course it was a great lyric match. It also just flowed so well. The whole video flows well! I also thought the "you became your worst fear" part was great! I don't have the context, but it seems like Ellen (Vanya?) was letting her powers take her to a darker place there? Not sure, but it was really beautiful. Amazing job on this! I will never be able to say enough positive things about your talent and just you amazing self!!
