Wonderful to have the band on tour and Erika back singing her heart out! Love you all. As an amateur trombone player I always look forward to Barnabus' throaty solos, but I appreciate and enjoy listening to everyone, both ensemble and solos. Keep going forever Tuba Skinny!
Oh my God right. I usually catch them live twice when they come to Maine. They r my fave live jazz band.... Oh wait they r the o ky jazz I listen to on a regular basis
What a wonderful way to start my vacation week off than by listening to Tuba Skinny all together again and back on tour doing what they do best. The band sounds great as always and Erika's voice is flawless. Just one short year ago, she was facing thyroid surgery with a chance that her vocal cords might be damaged. She obviously came through the surgery with flying colors and sounds great as always. God is great! And by the way, Robin is still the wizzard of the washboard and Greg is perhaps the 21st century's greatest blues man!😊👍👍
That girl Erica can certainly sing, missed her vocals so much recently glad 😀 she’s back. They always look like the are really enjoying performing unlike here in the UK where it’s all money money money.
Art, talent, essence undisputed property of " the kings of the streets " Tuba Skinny the ultimate band!!!from Argentina at the end of the world greeting
No words to adequately express how much I love this band! If you see a future YT video with some guy getting dragged off by the police for trying to give an unsolicited bear-hug to Shaye &/or Erika - that guy is me. Robin, Greg, Todd, Barn, Max & the rest of the boys - you guys are all great, too - but entirely safe from my bear-hugs. 😇
Erika's voice sounding better than I have ever heard! oh and by the way, use of dynamics and good tone in music - gee what a concept sadly lacking today.
what a sound to listen to on a friday morning, prop the band and fans up and we can all listen and dance until church time sunday morning. nobody can miss a beat on this playing, hey gerty bring the geritol we got things to do!
There guys are so great! My only wish ( aside from getting to see them live someday) is that they could get a better handle on the vocal mikes. But they are sublime anyway.
Y ESE NIÑO RUBIO ES SEGURAMENTE SU HIJO NO? QUE BUENO, ACOMPAÑANDO A MAMA Y NUTRIENDOSE DE LOS AMBIENTES MUSICALES. ME ALEGRO POR ERIKA. DIOS LA AYUDE Y BENDIGA SIEMPRE.
Poor old Spike Jones says ;well i be darn they found the "lost chord" we looked for many a saturday night ; but they found it and are working it to death!
ALEGRA MUCHO EL RETORNO DE ERIKA LEWIS. GRACIAS ERIKA POR SER TU. TODO ESTA BIEN, EL CLARINETE, LA TROMPETA EL OTRO VIENTO, LAS CUERDAS, EL TROMBOM ... PERO SIN LA VOZ, LA PRESENCIA AL MENOS, DE ERIKA ALGO IMPORTANTE LE FALTA A LA BANDA.
Just looking at them, you think "they can't be very good." But the instant the music starts, you realize how wrong you were. Wow. Simply Wow! They should be playing Carnegie Hall to sold out crowds! (How can many in this crowd be sitting around discussing the weather with this music playing? Get 'em outta there!)
Another great performance BUT again a terrible job on Erika’s vocals. Sound person needs to turn up her mic when she belts it out. It seems earlier videos years ago did a good job on Erika’s vocals but not anymore.
The boy is distracting from the band; he needs to grab a seat with the audience or find a dance partner ( I know he is Erica's son). Came to listen to the band; not watch the young boy playing.
@@tojaks No, my left ear was blown out in the Army; I will re-watch and listen with my good ear, I didn't notice the yakers before. Yakers are really the problem I agree, Thanks.
