That was one of the best, if not the best. Made me cry. And the people! Not one yammerin' away or walkin' in front of the camera as if Tuba Skinny were just buskers on the corner. God Bless You Always
Great old song, great players bringing good loving joy to the world, no need to be all about "baptize everyone in the name of whatever" Let's just let these good people bring some happiness into this scary world without any obligations of "y'all better be Christian or else."
I love your voice Erika . I wanted to have you and Tuba Skinny on the 7th of July for my wedding in the south of France at le Lavandou near St Tropez. I like so much Tuba Slkinny
¿..a piece of flavor of new orleans ,in france..?,,how lucky are those french fellows...!!!!...enjoy,...it wont last, this kinds have to get back home,...where art lives..!!!!
Lovely work, TS and domila. Tuba Skinny often has fun with old tunes, sporting about with various elements in ways that are unique to the band. This version of the classic hymn seems altogether different. The band's treatment of this composition is respectful and tender. I love the sight of Shaye, eyes closed, while Craig plays his sensitive solo.
Imagine my indignation, and chagrin, when I belatedly learned that my favorite NOLA jazz band had been playing in France while I was living there, unbeknownst to me… 🤕
Shaye is very nice in this yellow hat and Erika, as usual, looks very nice in a boy's hat and with sunglasses. These were true compliments. Gentlemen, I will not say compliments although you deserve them as well.
