I love how he makes a sound like he's taking in a breath! He's mimicking hearing that from whomever whistles with him... it's sooo cute! He's adorable!
(:-) my 1st 'tiel was very similar,he didn't whistle any tunes but his vocal skills were just as entertaining,"who's a pretty boy" the cavalry charge, mimicking the phone, wolf whistle & there was one that sounded as though he was laughing. Another male I had more recently made a sound like a car trying to start & the battery getting flat. Such good friends
What a little precious birdie singing his little heart ❤️ out with such a happy tune .Cockatiels are sooo sweet and I know this little guy is a male and he can really carry a tune.Love this!
I was looking for the classic morning song (I can't explain it) and accidentally stumbled upon this and both our dog and 11 day old newborn daughter absolutely loves it! So many smiles and head tilts! Thank you tubby!
TUBBY, vielen lieben Dank , für dein zauberhaften Pfeifsong , jetzt geht's mir richtig gut , du bist ein ganz hübscher, zuckersüßer und fantastisches Vöglein , sehr musikalisch , nochmal vielen lieben Dank dafür und alles Gute weiterhin. 🎤🐦🎶🐤🎶🐣🎶🐦🎶💗❣
Such a fun way to wake up in the morning. I raised cockatiels for years. They would have "coffee" with us every morning. We'd drink coffee, they'd have a handful of rice krispies! Great pets and very good mimics!
I just love these birds and can sit and listen to them so cute, my bird doesn't sing or talk but sure does make a lot of noise in the morning ,but loves me to sing to her and pat her loves to sit with me and reminds me to go on my computer everyday at a certain time and have to put music on for her on you tube reminds to fill her food every evening or when she runs out I love her she is good company for me .
You obviously show him/her great love and attention or else he/she would not be such an adorable performer. I have a cockatiel I call "Pooper" and by the time I grab the camera to film him whistling, he stops and gets shy. He is 22 years old now and sometimes trips while walking, but he never loses his will to entertain me and please me with his ardent whistling of a mixture of tunes I have tried to teach him. Cockatiel owners are very loving. Thanks for sharing this! Joe & Pooper
He's so cute! My cockatiel sings to me every morning and whenever I come back home! It's so cute when Tubby takes his little breaths in between singing : )
just singing his heart out. My cockatiel does this shrieking thing when he wants your attention. Its really rude and annoying. He will do it when I am on the phone or when we have company
Brittannia Moon well the bird thinks its rude when youre spending your time with another person instead of woth your very own, special flock member (who is handsome and a good singer to boot) how dare you spend time with another else :9
Is it like a super high pitched solid blare for a second? Because my friend has a bird where every so often she'd just shriek one solid sound for a second and then stop. Kind of like a REALLY scary alarm...
they're birds. You can't just expect them to wake up and start learning this. They need taught, attention and constant understanding. Calling it rude is just obnoxious because you basically are allowing him and being mad about it
Brittannia Moon when your bird does this you should ignore him, so he will realize that screaming doesn't get him what he wants. He will still scream a little for other reasons, it's what birds do. It's also a good idea to get him another bird to hang out with, he will be a lot less needy from you.
The little song and breaths got me...but also your description "influences include Mozart and Pop goes the weasel". I don't know what else I expected but....there it is.
Such a big heart in such a little package. My Max (1980-2003) would throw his chest out, hold his wings back and give it his all! As Shakespeare said of songbirds, "pouring forth his full heart!" What a sweetie. Imagine how much effort it takes for him to give you his song!
1:00 sounds like that song when turning that lever for jack in the box just a little bit so cute when they walk around waddling with their long tail trailing behind.
Too cute! This makes me think of my little birdie brother, Bubu. He was a Cheerio-stealing, poodle-teasing, Bubu-song whistling precious little baby. R.I.P, Bubu.....
