When I flew back to the states from Okinawa to Seattle, I was asked for my Official passport and my tourists passport along with my Hawaii drivers license when processing at immigration, I work for the federal government overseas and was required to show more information to enter the country than any of those people standing at that gate🤯

3 years ago I had a conversation with my 21 year old cousin. She said that she didn't care how bad the economy got, she just wanted Trump out of office. Ran into her at a family party this summer. And we paid almost a thousand dollars to renew my husband's green card back in March of 2021. They've been "actively reviewing' his application since August of 2021. And when I go to the site, it's all about the Ukrainians. Why isn't he becoming a citizen? Well, he wants to, but that will take two years. TWO YEARS. He's Australian. And white. And heterosexual. We all know that's bad. But here we are, paying actual large amounts of money to do things legally while people stream across the border. I'm getting mighty frustrated.

It takes two years and more in almost every country to become a citizen, the same applies in Australia I believe. I went through the same thing with my husband and it is not that bad, two years is not that long and Republicans or Democrats would not be able to do anything about that. And lastly, I do not see what skin colour or sexual orientation have anything to do with this. Immigration is not based on that.

We've paid tons of money and they are "actively reviewing" his application. Meanwhile, every time I go to the website, they are celebrating how awesome it is to help Ukrainian refugees. I'm happy to help refugees, but not at the expense of others. And I do believe they are so interested in equity that being a white, straight male is having an effect. You are welcome to disagree.

May I also point out that Trump was the one who made it more difficult for immigrants of all origin by stiffening the laws not the Democrats. Also, if there was a war or an invasion going on in Australia, they would be giving priority to Australian réfugiées it is just humanitarian common sense. And most Ukrainians are mostly fleeing to closer European countries and they are white and heterosexual....women and children are fighting for their lives it is a temporary situation.

Tucker, my car was stolen in Cincinnati last week. The police took almost 1.5 hours to arrive. Then he told me, if he or another cop saw my car and they tried to pull it over and the suspects decided to run they would not chase them down or pursue them. He said that they would just rather find it on the side of the road. I was flabbergasted and I asked him why. He said that's just what they are told to do. I door dash for extra cash, at night time when I'm driving around I listen to the police scanner. There's so many calls going out but I never see cops, even in the most dangerous neighborhoods no cops anywhere!!!!

I can't afford donations anymore, either. And the donations I did make through the Bush years, the Dole years, the McCain years, and the Romney years were totally wasted by the GOP. Donald Trump wasn't perfect, but he was a sight better than the rest, and what happened with him? The money I donated to the damned GOP got wasted on impeaching Trump, promoting Liz Cheney's catastrophic and hilarious failure of a candidacy, and voting for Democrat-sponsored spending boondoggles at our expense that stunk so bad, even Joe Manchin didn't want to touch most of them. He was referring to Senate over House of representatives. Each state elects its own representatives to send to the Federal government. But as each state only gets 2 Senators vs however many House of Representatives (based on population and divided by districts which only vote for their districts rep) its more of a challenge to win a seat as a senator as you have to convince more people than just one district. Senators were always meant as a safeguard against the House of representatives, as the founders believed (and were correct) that the masses are stupid. Which is why we have a Constitutional republic and NOT A DEMOCRACY.

True, and a lot of people aren’t going to openly tell strangers in public “oh yea I like republicans and support them more” given how the general mainstream lukewarm takes equates Republican to every -ist and -phobic under the sun, so some will keep their heads down and claim otherwise. Know people like that who voted Trump. At work they’ll go along with colleagues who voted Democrat all down the ballot and never show any support for any Republican except for when they’re more in the comfort of their own home or at the booth. But also, Republicans do have an issue with messaging. They don’t know how to speak _outside_ of their base. They need to be more stern with what they’re trying to convey, because everything is against them right now. It’s an uphill battle for them, but many just aren’t trying … it’s like they’re too comfortable with their positions and don’t want to step on any toes across the aisle for the sake of their government position. Those are the types they need to get rid of, but their pockets are so deep that I don’t think it’s possible.

You say Law and Order are more important that the economy, but many of our DA's and Attny Generals are in directly opposition to this, using a 'catch and release' or just not charging criminals.
