I worked in commercial construction on a couple of government funded projects, as well as when all the money was thrown around for covid, and the waste was unbelievable! Churches do have their problems, fraud even among them, as I personally know from a former pastor who I met after being released from prison. However, they generally do more good than harm, and are more efficient than the government any day.
