Thank you so much for your tutorials Deb!! By using Tuckerizing method and a few of your precise tools I completed one quilt with very complicated design from the book that I borrowed from library. I was amazed and pleased, that by using your technique, (and not the one described in a book) I saved a lot of fabric, and time as well) Thank you again and again!
Thanks for these explanations. I'm not sure why I thought "Tuckerizing" a quilt design would be hard, but there you are. I watched the first explanation in this series and did the ol' face-palm maneuver. I've watched them all and confirmed my understanding of the first video. Seriously, some of us are fearful first and analytical later. Tutorials like these get us past the fear faster. No, the fear doesn't make sense. It just is, for some reason.
I am so glad that these videos have helped you get past that fear. It can be difficult when trying something new, that we don't quite understand. Good luck with Tuckerizing and I hope that you have fun with your next quilt project.
I recently made an entire border for my queen size quilt from split rects. I consider myself to be an expert now! The tool (and all Deb's tools) are superb!
We don't have a book/magazine, but on our website, you can filter and see what you can do with the tool. deb-tuckers-studio-180-design.myshopify.com/search?type=product&q=Split+Rects+
The first project is called Misty Stars by Tamara Barfels it was in a 2014 Better Homes and Garden Special edition Super Star Quilts. Here is a link to the blog that she had in the magazine. daisyridgequilting.blogspot.com/
