Typical knee jerk reactions from people who haven't even handled a watch, judging it based on paper specs and images online. Good on you for seeing it and trying in person, I think this is a stellar purchase!

Love love love, I loved the last version and even love this more. This is the Tudor Batman watch. It’s on my wish list but with the ceramic band. Beautiful and breath taking. Congrats on buying something special and not listing to sheep. Love it, wear it and enjoy it
Frankly I really like this watch, so very happy to see how it looks in this hands-on, thanks for posting. If I didn't have the BB58 blue I would get it instantly. I like stealth and I like lightweight. I was looking at the the Zenith Revival Shadow but its a bit too small for my 7.25 inch wrist. This one must be perfect. Tudors are such strap monsters too.
Hopefully I get to see one today but it's so alien to me (the use of ceramic, going no date on a dive, strap vs bracelet) I don't think I could pull the trigger. Congratulations! It looks great. Very unique!
I think the strap is on backwards, the tail should point outwards instead of poking you in the body. Turn it around and it fits better also. I have this watch also and mine came the same way; Great Watch !
I must say it looks really good. A lot better than I thought from the release and a lot nicer than most other ceramic watches. Looking forward to your full review.
As far as blacked out options go, it looks great. Still think the Speedmaster Black Black is a better direct comparison rather than the James Bond. I see people hating on it because the bracelet, crown, or bezel aren’t ceramic (bezel insert is). We’ll guess what, there has to be some compromise if you are going to have a price point of $4,725. Sure, they could make the whole thing ceramic, but then it ends up costing $8-$10K. And all of a sudden it loses the differentiation when comparing to the Speedmaster BB and other competitors.

Very nice! Congratulations! I would definitely consider this Black Bay but I have my eyes set on a ceramic pilot chrono from IWC. Its a thick watch but I've been wanting one for many years. Wear it in good health!

It even looks better than last year’s the one completely in black. What looked good on the one that would look amazing on yours is the black alligator with black stitching. I know, no gator on a diver but imagine how cool that would look. James bond would offer you his best bottle of bolli I am sure…. I would. (2012 vintage….)
Not really a big fan of black watches but Damn this one screaming to me. I have the BB S&G and totally love it. I definitely have to check this one out it looks stealthy 🥷

Very nice watch. Unexpected moves for Tudor - ceramic, METAS certification, new movement. I wish it had a date complication. I wonder what they will do for the Pelagos, which is due for a refresh. Hopefully make it thinner.
Its a cool watch. Seems like a more well considered edition compared to the original black model they tried some years back. The blacked out movement is a nice extra. I'm really curious how this will compare to the black ceramic Omega Seamaster that was also announced this year. This one certainly wins on legibility, compared to the Seamaster.
It looks absolutely stunning. I understand why you got it, you just took one for the team, for the channel… I wonder how it will coexist with your bb58, I really do. Interesting how Tudor is maybe coming after Omega, and not Omega going for Rolex like some would like. Imagine how they could occupy the 3000-5000$ range and Rolex the 5000$ + range…. Tudor’s designs are well executed and getting better. Also willing to advance technically. Omega is not there design-wise. And to think they have this amazing back catalogue.
Looks better than I thought, It is good that it is slimmer than the original BB 41mm. I love my BB58, can do a side by side comparison with BB58 and BB GMT ? Also wonder how would this ceramic BB looks on other nato straps or rubber strap.
HOW! It only showed up online yesterday and you have one - your name must be Neo cause it seems the answer to 'how?' is 'he is the one!'. I doubt I see this for over a year and waitlist only - prove me wrong Tudor.
Great looking watch imo. But the PVD coating on the bezel and clasp is old technology imo, obviously a cost related decision. The METAS certification is a good move, I expect more brands to follow. I think this will only strengthen the reputation of the Master Chronometer standard that Omega has developed and implemented for years.
I remember trying on the black bay dark - thought the case was miles too thick. Is this an improvement? Not sure about the white stitching on the rubber strap? Also is the lume “faux” aged yellow or white?
Not a bad release but if only it was ceramic bezel on steel case and not all blacked out. I guess they didnt want overlap with the Sub and undercut themselves lol. That is an elegant movement and display back tho.
The rubber strap is on backwards!!! I have never seen that in the past... interesting. Wonder if Tudor meant to do that or if someone was playing with the strap in the store?
Love the technology, love all things Tudor, alas, this one isn't for me in black ceramic, its awesome, shows that Tudor is becoming the design and R&D arm of Rolex, just not something I would wear, like the new 925 Silver and Gold and Green BB58s. Great vid as always!
Glad I sold my explorer 16570 and my u series seadweller 16600, now I can buy 2 of these and an omega Seamaster 57 trilogy both with better movements, less boring, and less chance of being mugged😎 winner winner chicken dinner

Disappointing NO wet strap for a dive watch. Also the bezel is steel ceramic insert, why on Earth it is called "ceramic" watch. Price....no thank you although it is a quality watch and I love Tudor
