Not so much racing these days. I raced for 10 years and ticked all the boxes I wanted to there. Now it's about being fit enough to enjoy riding, smashing a few sessions here and there, and maybe pinning a number on every now and then.
What software is creating that awesome graphics of the data? Is that using the FIT file from the Garmin? And then synched with the video. Pretty amazing. I think you used that before on a Time Trial Stephen Lane rode.
Thanks! Just did a nice free install of VIRB. Did a short video of the downloaded metrics from a Zwift ride. :-) Surely Wahoo Fitness files will be compatible too.
Your editing gets greater and greater each time! Your heart rate goes up pretty high still. Friend of mine is 36 and he can't go over 175 anymore (active triathlete).
Cheers. Editing to music beats makes some good visuals and can tidy up an otherwise content empty video (like the just riding along parts). I used to do it a lot.... not so much these days. One of my favourites was our Darwin video last year ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D_qy9yLEPk0.htmlm13s Excuse the camera shake, but the ending was just magic in the plane. RE: Heart Rate. Everyone is different. If I'm training really really hard (and over doing it) my HR won't go above 182-183. I'm still hitting 190s on 'fresh' days.
G'day Fred. 1 - I'm wearing a Specialized Evade. It's aero, but also stops my head getting sunburnt/tiger stripes on sunny days. 2 - That's a GoPro Hero5 Session. Post production required to insert the data (Garmin Virb Edit using data from my Elemnt BOLT)
and the fourth, last b n t least (by-the-way-ish question): I got 2 Bkool Pro's + 2 samsung 40' 6000 series + mats (that do matlike things... hehehe). Best available buy/budget for me here in Rio. Have you ever tested those?
It depends on what the goal is. These were training. So loading up the legs and stressing the body. I didn't once look at my cadence to be honest. These were a "Let's get to the top, let's make it hurt, let's do it again!" kind of session. Completely different goal to riding from A to B in the most efficient way. Good training makes us more efficient tomorrow, or the next day. :)
