You and your beloved will be in our thoughts and prayers. We are glad Natalie and Misty are keeping the lights on for your return. Stay healthy and safe. Gods speed my friend.
With the ones that we love, it's never "goodbye", it's "see you later". And there's a lot of love in that room, and all over the Internet and the world. See you later, Jenny! God bless you.
Thank you so much for the news today. So touching, and I was crying right along with you.. thank you for being a wonderful person and bring us the joy of quilting, If it wasn’t for you I would have never started quilting. You are going to be missed, Gods blessings to you on your travels ❤
You guys have me crying over here! Jenny, just as you and Ron are a blessing to everyone here in the US, you will be a blessing to those you minister to in Africa! I am praying for you guys!
Jenny, Natalie, and Misty, my heart is filled with gratitude and admiration for your talents, willingness to share, and abilities to lift us, guide us, and inspire us. I will miss Jenny's presence, but her essence will be shining through Natalie and Misty. We are so fortunate to have all of you in the quilting world. Indeed, I would not be part of it had it not been for you, sweet people! All the best blessings on your mission, Jenny! ❤
I learned to quilt in 2015 when I watched your jelly roll tutorial on RU-vid. I'm grateful for all you and your girls have done. Praying for you and Ron on your mission work in Africa. Love you all lots!
Jenny. I am a South African who travelled extensively through Africa, for work and privately. Love my continent and people. I believe that women are the backbone of Africa. 2 things: Prepare yourself for travel tummy due to the different food. Then also, use a mosquito repellent dusk and dawn. Malaria is real. You are going to have an amazing time, broadening your world perspective. Lots of love from Mzanzi.
Prayers for safe travels - looking forward to updates of your trip. I will definately continue to support Natalie & Misty & MSQC - you all are simply the BEST.
My goodness!❤ I'm looking for tissues here in New Hampshire!😊 I started watching MSQC when you were in the shop. One of my favorite videos was the sewing the 10" square all around, cutting it and bang! 4 hst! I've loved getting to learn new things, like how to bind my quilt with the continuous binding. Loved all the demos and the infectious laughter while we're learning. Thank you so much, Doan FAMILY. You've ALL helped so many of us "solitary quilters" feel like there's community. You've helped us laugh when our own world was falling apart. You encouraged us to not take ourselves quite so seriously. You've shown us different ways to do things (Triple Play). Etc etc et al. And all you thought you were doing was making a fun video. 😂 I've so appreciated all of the community there in Missouri, you're on my list to come. The tutorials. The tools. Maybe I'll bring my Diamond Dance Quilt for a trunk show. My Goose Tracks quilt, if I can borrow it back from who's getting it.😂 My Ribbons quilt isn't leaving my friend's house. Ever since you've talked about Mr. Ron and you going on a Missions trip, I've been so happy for you, Jenny. (As someone who was called from Alaska to New Hampshire over 40 years ago, I remember the delight and a little trepidation coming here. Like a roller-coaster ride.) I've been praying for the Lord to help you, as you're reaching out to others in His name. Praying for Him to open doors and provide for you in your outreach. I'll be watching Misty and Natalie, and praying for you and Mr. Ron. You are so loved! Godspeed on your journeys. May the Lord bless and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace.
Jenny you will most definitely be missed, but so happy for you and Ron to experience such a wonderful experience together. Natalie and Misty will continue to do an outstanding job in your absence. Many prayers and blessings with your travel.
Dang...Jenny, you had me crying, too. I wish you & Ron nothing but the best. Godspeed. And...your 'girls' will do just fine & I can't wait to see what they create while you're serving God on your Mission.
Wow! Crying into my coffee right now! I wish you God's speed. So great to see your kids and I know they'll do great "keeping the lights on". Love you all.
I am sitting here in a puddle of happy tears. Love you and your family! Looking forward to what the future brings. Blessings overflowing to all of you.
Jenny, I found your channel during the pandemic. And I started quilting to pass the time. And as I started. I made a few mistake along the way. But, threw your help of you and your channel. I learned so much and had made some beautiful special personalized quilts. With my families favorite thing in fabric print patterns. As I was learning. I decided then to make quilts for my whole family for Christmas that year. I did it to have them have something special from me. In case I past away. Being I was battling health issues. I made a quilt for my mom that year not know. I was going to lose her next year to nazel cancer.. She was a believe in Jesus. When she past away. She went to meet the Lord at 3:16 pm dec 7. You have taught me so much. And I love your channel. And I will miss you and your channel. I'm a firm believer in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. God bless you all and I wish all the best for you and your family.
We love you Jenny! You are going to do even more amazing things than you are doing now! And we will all support Natalie and Misty as much as we support and love you! 💛

Well, I said I wouldn’t cry, but here I am blubbering all over my self. You are an amazing woman and thank you for getting me back into quilting after my quilting buddy passed a few years ago. Safe travels and love to your whole family!

Jenny brings joy...no matter where she is. I met her several times. She never acted like I was a bother...she makes time for her "fans!" May you be blessed with favor and safe travel.
Jenny, you and Ron will have an amazing adventure. Don't even worry about MSQC. Your giant, extended family will do amazing things while you are away. Maybe you will come home with another book to write. You will receive as much as you give. ❤
Before COVID I had never sewn anything except tote bags. Then I started making masks and RU-vid suggested that I might want to look at your quilting videos, and my life changed. You make everything simple and fun, and I always feel like you're talking just to me. Your warm and generous spirit shines through. I may not share your theology, but I can recognize genuine goodness and grace when I see it. Stay safe on your journey -- you are taking our hearts with you.
You’ve got all of you tube balling this morning. Happy tears though. You videos taught me how to quilt, got me through being out of work in 2009 and leaning a new craft, something to keep my hands busy years later while my parents passed, and reinvigorated me through COVID, making masks and rediscovering quilting in it’s deepest form - community and therapy’s. I thank God for you and pray he is with you every day. While you’re gone. Can’t wait to see what Misty, Natalie and all the fabulous MO Star folk have for us over the next two years until you are back to brighten our screens. Love you Jenny! God’s speed!
Prayers for you & Mr. Ron during your travels & mission! And prayers for your family during your absence & the health of your company & all the people who are supported by the company!
Crying with everybody else I expect. 2 WHOLE YEARS of missionary work !!!!!! My goodness you are an example to us all & will be in my prayers to Our Lady. You will be sorely missed on the channel but we will be avidly following your adventures on instagram. The girls will be holding the fort with brio & this season in life will give them their chance to shine. Love & prayers from the French Pyrenees. xxxx
I had to tune in for this last one. I was in tears too. My mom tried to teach me to sew and even though I tried and put the money out for my own machine- I struggled. And I hated that machine. The tension was impossible to get right. In 2003 I bought a new machine and started trying to learn from a friend. I made my kids pj's that 1st year and started my first quilt top. Sadly, I had a falling out with my teacher and we parted ways- and she ended up with my quilt top! It was disheartening enough I put my machine away for several years. Then I stumbled onto your videos and the desire to sew was rekindled... for me and my daughter. However, my budding dressmaker had more time than I did, so she had my machine until she received her own. And then we moved. Honestly, I just started sewing again really. And I am sad (for me) to see you go. But, I can't wait to see what the girls have planned and the fun adventures you'll have in Africa. If all goes well, I hope to make it up to a Birthday Bash and meet you all. I am seriously jealous of how you all work so well together- I hope my girls and I can do even a smidgen as well in our new venture. Love to everyone--- Melissa.
This is like saying 'see ya later' to an old, forever friend. You and the girls have taught me so much and provided humor along the way. Safe travels, God speed to you and Ron. Will pray for you in your new adventure the whole time and look forward to the updates. And if I miss you too much I will just watch old tutorials!!🙏🤗💕
We loved our first Birthday Bash! So much fun! We love you ALL so much. Prayers for you and yours, wherever you are, for the family keeping the home machines sewing 🧵🪡✂️, Be well, Be Happy and Healthy. God be with you till we meet again 😊🎉🙏🤟🍀🌸🦓
This is two weeks in a row tears in the eyes for you Jenny and Family. I have no doubt MSQC will keep the lights on and all the adventures rolling. I’m excited for you, Jenny and Ron, what a blessing you will give to those in Africa and all the blessings the people will shower on the two of you. Can’t wait to see you share the blessings with all of us. The lights are on…❤
Anytime girls! Some of us are over here crying. You are all so fabulous! You are all like my sisters...Jenny, I think I may be older than you... What an amazing family. The support and love that you all have is so wonderful. I think I want to be on that plane to give Ron and Jenny all the hugs they need. As hard as it will be for them, it will be just as hard for the kids and grands. But we can all cheer up, because a yr and a half will go by fast. (At least in theory). We will all be here rooting for Ron and Jenny and for everyone left at home. Those are mighty big shoes to fill, but we know they are all up for the challenge. Hugs and more hugs.
Jenn, may God’s Blessings go before you. enjoy every moment of your mission. what fun You and Ron stuck side by side for Two years no kids distracting you two love Birds! Hugs, Love and Prayers!
