Each Tuesday, we will be releasing a tech tip video that will give users information on various topics relating to our Storinator storage servers.
This week, Spencer talks to us about using Rclone for backing up to various cloud providers.
During this video demo, Spencer will demonstrate how to install Rclone and connect to a cloud service. He also walks through connecting to Backblaze B2 and Ceph. This process allows users to move files to these services and safely store their backups.

Awesome video that I'm using to help guide me through setup. But one request... If you could make your terminal font size bigger than .2, that'd be awesome. haha

Please Please help with how to mount / sync with BackBlaze using Rclone... I've been searching everywhere!!

Hey! There is a knowledgebase article here (knowledgebase.45drives.com/kb/kb450429-connecting-rclone-to-cloud-services/) that helps with connecting and then you could set up some kind of crontask to sync it up. Mounting in rclone is kind of its own special thing that utilizes fuse to mount a remote as a filesystem. Docs for that are located here: rclone.org/commands/rclone_mount/ . However, with that being said, we don't really use it for much of that here at 45Drives. Hope this helps just a little bit!
