Dunno if you guys gives a damn but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my brother for the last few months :)
So excited, although I already made some Love Notes before these came out I’ve used them on weeks 3 and 4, can’t wait to see more designs like Halloween , holidays . Thanks so much Kimberbell, you bring joy to me and everyone that sees the finished projects. 💗You’re right Kimberbell is addictive🥰
these are lovely! Could you demonstrate using them with an applique pattern? Kind of unsure how to do this how do you align the designs to the quilt patterns. thank you
I also wanted to suggest that for the next Easter pillow you do one of the Resurrection or the three crosses on the hill maybe as a silhouette with a background of a beautiful sunset. Hoppy Easter was really fun but it's really more childlike
I hope you are planning to demonstrate using the quilting backgrounds and then applying an applique. The directions say to combine the background pattern with the applique pattern. Although my machine will combine the patterns, I am not quite sure why I would want to do that. The background patterns are really lovely!
My question is I can put the background coating on my PE 900 and brother machine. Then I can add the embroidery or appliqué on top of it. So it would do the background quilting first and then the embroidery or appliqué project next correct? My question is a lot of the blocks or a few of the blocks and some of your quilt. I have to double Hoover Triple Hooper quadruple hoop because I only have a 5 x 7 hope. How does that background quilting lineup? I bought to complete kits. Arrow I have the candy, corn, quilt shop and the vintage boardwalk. I guess on a few of the blocks I will have to do multiple hoopings. I just need to know if the background quilting would lineup
I am currently doing a quilt as you go quilt, meaning I have the blocks already pieced and the backing on with the batting in the middle and a basting stitch around it each. So what do I do from there, do I sew on framing strips and just hoop the whole thing?
With the Hoppy Easter, Luck O' The Gnome, and Ginger's kitchen, all those blocks are done first then assembled before we add the batting and the Muslim backing for the quilting, so how would we do the background embroidery on each block before the embroidery and assembly?
I JUST finishes the Boo-levard bench pillow...WOW it was SO frustrating! I am an experienced ITHooper, I have done full quilts from different companies. The numbers and math in every block could have been done so much bette! What not say at the beginning of each block in the instructions "what size batting", " what size quilting file to choose" (that was the worst for me). Because it was difficult to choose which one matches the FINISHED BLOCK SIZE with the design. The numbers were i.e.; 8.50 x 4.50 etc. So that one won't fit...keep hunting, keep hunting OH ME! Please just tell me at the beginning of the block which one to choose and what size batting. On the block that finished 4.5 x 8.5 hummmm now what size file for quilting do I choose...OH WAIT...keep hunting, keep hunting. I am sure there must be a better way. OR I need to switch my brain from ALL the other companies easy directions to the Kimberbell challenge. Love the designs but wish the directions could be much easier. Whew. Done.
Ladies what is the name of the beautiful quilt with blenders on it. I am a baker and I would love to make it for me. I don’t know if this happens to you guys I give everyone something and never do things for me.
