Growing up in Washington Heights, Diane Arevalo '24 was surrounded by people from a mix of cultures and backgrounds. When she arrived at Brandeis, she was able to find a similar community through the Brandeis Intercultural Center. With 16 diverse student clubs and organizations, the ICC is a space for different cultural groups to come together on campus. It also serves to foster a community where all diverse perspectives are valued and understood.
In our latest installment of Tuesdays at Brandeis, Diane talks with Rubaiya Nasim '23 about the community the ICC fosters and how it helped them find their "Morries."
