In the best-selling memoir "Tuesdays with Morrie," Mitch Albom ’79 documented the transformative relationship he shared with his Brandeis sociology professor, Morrie Schwartz. Earlier this year, Albom challenged the Brandeis community to share stories about their own Morries.
Each year, students from New York City and Atlanta are selected as Brandeis Posse Scholars. These students receive four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarships, making Posse one of the most competitive merit-based scholarship programs in the country. In this next “Tuesdays at Brandeis” installment, Jessica Christian ’13 recalls meeting Kim Godsoe, Ph.D., Assistant Provost at a reception for interested students over a decade ago - an interaction and relationship that she credits with saving her life.
