From what I remembered, dorian price was kinda active in Muay Thai. Andy wang is black belt in bjj but he won’t want to use it and bang only. So I give the W to dorian. Hopefully Dana can make it atleast the co main event.
I don’t even think this shows him in a bad light. He comes off as cool and likeable, just had a bonehead moment. The whole thing was centered around the fact that he lost and wanted badly to keep training, and that’s good PR right there.
I agree, dana made the right call, he understands mentally how tough the ultimate fighter is on guys and he was very fair in how he dealt with Dorian here.
Looks like he might've been suffering from a minor concussion and this was around the time the science of concussions were dismissed by athletes and misunderstood by the general public. Some of the symptoms of a concussion is seeing stars, disorientation, emotional outbursts and a change in behavior. Honestly Dana made a good call just giving him a warning and letting him stay on the show
@@DoubleDOwnage Well they did take all the other videos down for what it's worth. Although Dorian thinks it makes him look bad I don't think it makes him look bad. Also it reminds people that Dana is forgiving in some situations.
Good to see some humble pie. Was refreshing to see him chill out and not be kicked off. The frustration was at a peak plus my mans was definitely concussed. I can see how he lashed out. And i love how nobody talking how close that boom mic was?? I shouldn’t need to see the mic on camera they was all up in his face
I know you’re not supposed to have any contact with the production staff at ALL but that was an emotional moment for him and that boom mic getting pushed into his face was aggressive and really pushing the boundaries of professionalism on their part. You never seen boom mics on screen, so for you to see it pushed in like that was some wild shit.
So then you just gonna pretend like UFC hasn't been uploading straight fire with the free fights lately? Haha okay man, you should work for FOX or CNN.
hahahahahahahaha, rly? you honestly fucking thought that dana would be in thee in tuf jersey rolling with those guys!? if he was like that he wouldnt shit talk some fighters like he does from time to time thats for sure
I can see how cameras might freak the guy out. If you have anxiety, you know that the fear of screwing up makes you 10 x more likely to actually screw up. Fighting is a high pressure sport.
Every reality show oversteps: "oh, you're upset!?" *CAMERA ZOOMS IN, producers hope subject will cry* ... "Oh, you're sick!?" *CAMERA ZOOMS IN, BOOM MIC LITERALLY IN THE FACE*
1st time I saw this I was very quick to judge. Now watching it all again and looking back at the whole season, I feel bad for it. He was a great guy and fighters breakdown is tough as hell. I wouldn't doubt if he really had a concussion, even if not, if your mind Isnt together after not showing the best of yourself, it's tough as nails.
Nobody is really wrong here. Crew guy doing his job. But you really gonna film a dude who lost and ain’t got nothing to do with the storyline crying just because it’s funny or what??
The drama and the characters are a massive part of the show. If there's a story to be told, they will tell it. That's the deal. Sometimes it means they catch you at your low points and you have to be okay with that, because it's great television. And that's what the production crew is there for.
With everything we know about concussions and grey matter. This is exactly what this was. Interesting of the reactions of Dana and staff before knowing what we know today. If they knew then, what we know now, they would have sent him for a head scan.
understandable, and hey Mr. Price yes the camera man was doing his job; but trust me, he wouldn't have been the only camera man to get the ever loving shit knocked out of him for filming something someone else thought he shouldn't have. Success to you brother.
Sort of agree with the guy tbh lol. He was stressed out it's plain to see and even tho he should never have gone to the production crew he didn't t really do anything other than say a few words while emotional. I have felt a few times that if it was me I wouldn't be able to have cameras and microphones recording me 24-7 cos I lose my shit regularly and need a few minutes alone to chill lol.
