tuff_fish playing poker with live commentary. Stiff losses to EmpireMaker2.
tuff_fish commented: "OK, here are the scenes of the crime. Please be gentle, I am fragile right now. I really don't have the time to go back and find every outburst in the audio track, so be warned, there are some salty comments here and there. Not as bad as my ubertilt the other day, but still a bit much."

Don't know why Empire apologizes in that hand where he hit the flush on the river. He's actually a slight favorite when the chips went in with two overs and a flush draw. He had 15 outs twice, he also forced the action twice.

Hes a favorite but against any reasonable range that 3 bets the flop hes doing pretty bad. He found himself in the absolute best case scenario with 2 live overs plus flush draw. With that said, if tuff fish is 3betting the flop with all top pairs which I suspect he might be, then the get it in with QJcc is printing.

Man this guy is the tightest playing poker player I've ever seen in my life. Then when he gets a nutty hand, he over bets and gets only folds. It pains me to watch this sort of stuff

The game was so different back then players were so bad and the bet sizing was so different. Just look at the opening raises they are 4x to 4.5 x and today you see a lot of 2x to 2.5x. If you were good back then you made a fortune

Is he not dead? I'm really glad. What happened then did he just quit online poker after black Friday? There's no way he could have been making any money but he sounds such a great guy.

I wasn't having a go at him, to be honest I don't think he's a bad player at all, I'm just not sure he plays well enough to make a consistent profit. This is 2006 everyone played like a fish online lol, you are right about empire maker, Tuff could have even had a better flush.

Lol at the hand tuff folds 88 and the board comes 7 5 6 with the 2 others holding 10s and Jacks. Typical online action flop with no overcards to any pair dealt out. Empire played that awful. 10s beat nothing but a bad bluff with a 3 on the turn.

He was literally one of the worst - if not THE worst - players around at a time (Poker Boom years) where you could literally print money for basic, solid play - from players like him. Almost every single decision he makes is wrong.
