The rear suspension helps a bunch with them. Let’s the axles walk up and over stuff really well instead of bouncing over everything. And, tall tires help a lot too. Also, goes to show how a slower consistent speed can still make for a decent time. A lot of the other stuff went faster sometimes, while plowing into the ground the rest of the time.
I remember one year at the county fair they setupp something like this where htey had short course trucks doing timed exhibition runs, but between their runs they let 'regular' folks run most of the same course in their 'street' trucks(there was one very big hill they didn't do). This one guy in an lifted suburban just hammers his throttle from the start, and halfway through on an small jump he snapped his rear drive shaft. They towed him off and let everyoen else finish their first round then let the Pro trucks do their second round. Then next 'amateur' round the guy in the suburban came back, and on the same jump as before snapped his front driveshaft in spectacular fashion (big bright light, glowing parts on the ground. etc.) What was even better than that was while all the 'amateurs' brought their lifted trucks and jeeps with larger tires, there was one entry that was an LOWERED mini truck (as in it would be scraping the asphalt) that just absolutely dominated the amateur bracket. Naturally it was one of the Pro's showing everyone how it's done, and that you could do so without lifting your truck to the extreme. While everyone cheered the mini-truck, they absolutely loved the destruction of the Suburban.....
Most people don’t have the timing to hit stuff right and maintain speed. They just hit everything as fast as they can. But, the destruction makes for entertainment.
The duce and m93 and Oshkosh trucks far better than the Stewart Stevenson trucks the m93 if faced with a rd block and the duce the front end and motor will take the damage before the drivers or occupants in the vehicle the plus a cab over not the best thing for fixing in the field having to lift the cab instead of panels and hood
These trucks are extremely week. A Japanese toyota can take way more punishment than this haha.. I’ll never buy an American car or truck after seeing this, Japan all the way from now on! These cars are soooo weak haha
