Tug boats have been confirmed for an upcoming update making the Underwater labs update even more exciting for Rust Console edition. Great news for Rust Console Edition cheater ban wave update. Rust Console cheater ban wave incoming soon. Recently the Rust Console Edition Cheating Problem has gotten a lot worse, it seems like every server and every wipe there are so many people using third-party devices (Zen, Cronos, M&K adaptors). Cheating in Rust Console is when people are using a Keyboard and Mouse in a game that requires players to use controllers is an unfair advantage to other players playing legit, also any recoil reduction is cheating. For the Same reason using in-game exploits is also cheating (hacking) the game rules to give the player an unfair advantage against other players outside the games base rules. Double 11 will be doing a ban wave soon for anyone using a mouse and keyboard adaptor and recoil reduction for Rust Console Edition on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X. Tug Boats will make the Sea lab update that much better now that we now it is happening. Sea Lab (Underwater Labs Update) is on Testing Branch along with both Submarines solo and duo version will be coming with the Update. Testing Branch did just get it first patch to address the doors and the Tool cupboard area of effect. With Underwater Labs (Sea Labs) is on the horizon, it will be the next content update. Quick look into the next big update for Rust Console and the bans that will be coming to Rust Console Edition. Sea Labs will bring in some more massive changes for Rust Console Edition along with some new modes of transportation. I will believe it when i see it. Ive reported people who were blatent cheaters. Screen shots admitting to cheating. None were ever banned. Been playing for 3 years dealing with this crap.

Be grateful you're not on PC and dealing with what PC users deal with on the hacker front. I regularly beat xim and zen users. Half of them are still garbage even without recoil and with scripts

I think the reason why they will probably do it in 2 phases is because the issues we have had on PTB and to cover themselves just in case, which i think is a smart idea to do. Also the fact for tugs if there is issues when they add this in next week on PTB it then also gives them time to tweak for the rest of the PTB for both. I see it from there point of view and i think they are taking the right approach to this. I know most wont agree with them doing it but it is what it is.

They have a glitch on Playstation that makes u see through walls but they have not fixed it. I have even seen it happen to non cheaters.

Ok so this is just my opinion on the whole ban situation. I really don’t think Microsoft or Sony will do much if anything about the third party devices. My reasoning is that if they are collecting data on individuals who are using them and they can see the account that is guilty of using the device why not get on with banning the account or system for that matter. I believe it’s because if they ban the account most folks will just make another account and continue to use the device anyway. Now if they ban the system that would be more effective but they may also see that there are other accounts on the same system that have not been using the device. So that means it would lock people who use the system (Dad, Mom, Brother, Sister, Roommate etc) to not be able to play anything and that is tragic.

Exactly why zen xim will never be fully banned, it’s not possible for them to differentiate Xbox products and an off brand walmart/amazon controller.. if they put a code to detect certain products.. they’d have to put some type of code that only allows certain brands… which would affect normal players more than zen players.. I gurantee like 60% of people are using Xbox elites or elite variants.. or some type of wired controller because batteries are annoying… they’re all getting banned or affected aswell… Truthfully they COULD ban all zen use… but not without banning all other non Microsoft controllers… and no work around for it… they couldn’t release a certain update to other companies without zen studios getting access and using it too.. and they will NEVER affect their customers.. it’s too much money down the drain… too many people would be forced to buy new controllers/headsets just because it’s the only way they could do something… plus not to mention the amount of stock holders Microsoft would screw over.. it’s an entire dilemma they can’t go into

I would enjoy a server where it’s competitive but. Not where one group always grinds the 2 days after wipe to dominate everyone. And try to raid during high pop times, not 2 am… 🎉😅 keep up the amazing work Jade!

What about just having my mouse and keyboard plugged into my console ? Cause I play games that are M&K compatible, I don't want to get banned if since I'm not cheating, but I know even with M&k plugged in to the console itself you cant use the keyboard and mouse 🤷🏻

Need help PLEASE!! Have community server. Tried to make a kit and add it to spawn for all “user” But instead everyone now spawns with m249 LR AK Mp5 LLMG M4 Thomson barricade and a few other things. Doesn’t show up in kit list and I can’t find it to be able to delete it, which makes it ridiculous to spawn into server atm. Any help would be awesome brother!!! Need to remove all of it from auto spawning for everyone every time you die.

No. Xbox elite controllers have 4 extra paddles. Extra buttons don't do anything extra just re-mapping buttons. Not a big deal.

I had mentioned the on other content me personally I don’t care about the cheaters I still crap on them like they do me I’m legit with over 5k hours the hardest part of this game is the recoil and honestly before they implement an anti cheat they need to remaster the recoil to make it fair for the RCE community I myself can say that the recoil was difficult to get down an it’s insane the amount of time you have to dump into this game to learn it don’t get me wrong for some people it comes easy but you have people that are “blessed” nicely speaking and I don’t think those people should be counted out

If you watch what Xbox is trying to do like trying to bring steam to the console market it only makes sense to allow full keyboard and mouse support for all games so D-11 needs to make key board and mouse a option in game cause what it comes down too is that there making this game based off the PC rust it’s a cloned version so only makes sense for them to do that. But yes if you’re using it right now to cheat it’s still cheating. Right now until D-11 does add it into the game but until then. You know what it is
