Yes to the blue and white lure . Some mods - wire trace and a circle hook plus thread alternating white and yellow plastic beads on the wire trace from the hook plus a couple of round lead weighs to drag it down. Slide the lure down the trace to cover the lead weights and the beads so that just the tip of the hook is outside the lure skirt.. The movement of the white and yellow beads seems to attract fish lots.

I spent 10 years in the Coast Guard. They seldom allowed us to fish. So ŵe would wait until dark and we put out hand lines where they weren't visible. We caught soo many Bonita in the Yucatan channel.

I'll give another vote for the tug videos. They are always very interesting. Looks like to me that you're in my neck of the woods (literally). Some woods in the Midwest somewhere. Hopefully right on the Mississippi River.
