Jollibee is not just a fastfood restaurant. It’s tradition, it’s culture. It’s celebrations, it’s love, it’s death, it’s sadness and happiness, it’s joy and sorrow and everything in between. It’s Life and it’s the Filipinos. Love from Thailand.. ❤
I agree! We have a family tradition that my older brother started when he got his very first pay check, it was bringing home a bucket of chicken joy to celebrate but after that it stuck with every pay check and more than a decade after my family continued that tradition to this day and now even my niece is doing it.... Every time someone brings home chicken joy it becomes a happy event.
That's how Jollibee has been a big part of every Filipino ... Majority of the memories wether about love, family or friendship.. it was Jollibee that maybe seen them all..❤❤
Jollibee means Family... every child in the Philippines wants to experience the Jollibee day in their life. Parents are really happy when they're able to bring their children to Jollibee.
Jollibee is not just a food chain here in the Philippines. It became part of the Filipino culture especially for children. Those who can afford, they celebrate their kid's birthday in Jollibee. If we want to give them a treat, we buy food from Jollibee, etc.
the things is Jollibees is so embedded in Filipino culture for 3 generations now, what used to kids back then when Jollibee first opened are now grandparents and still love Jollibee. and being the the famous fast food chain in the Philippines it is not impossible to have such stories like these. these are a series of commercials specially made for valentines day. there are actually more of these. well we are filipinos and we like cheesy stories...
This was fun. Jollibee is marketed as a family restaurant in the Philippines. This is where most families treat their children during Sundays after morning mass (especially during the early 90's to late 2000's). Filipinos are really suckers for romance thus the romance focused commercials but the majority of Jollibee commercials are family oriented ones.
I met my husband in Jollibee😊.. I was a Management Trainee while he was the Captain at the BOH (Back of the House ). He trained me in the burger station. Now we have 2 grown up kids and enjoying our retirement. Jollibee will forever be our favourite fast food burger, chips and esp the chicken joy 😊.
My exact same reactions bruhs! 🤣😅🤧These Jollibee commercials are greater in all aspects compared to 90% of the romantic movies I've seen (w/ the gf, now wife 😁) in only 1/15th-1/10th the time!
HAHAHAHHHAA! Great reactions! You guys were so funny! Jollibee is all about the Filipino culture as it is very Filipino so commercials tend to be very Filipino as well on love, family etc..so yes, this is Filipino! hahaha!
So refreshing to see you guys react to this and see your genuine reactions. Those stories are real life stories of someone and Jollibee had been so significant to their life during those times. We really appreciate you guys appreciating our culture.thanx and more to come....
This randomly popped up and I'm glad I clicked on this lol! This was hilarious! A company that sells food using heartache haha! Did you notice they brought Jollibee to the guy's grave?! Oh my lord were they eating Jollibee while staring at his grave? Haha!🤣🤣🤣
Yes, we Filipinos bring food to the cemetery and eat together as a family over the grave of our loved ones especially during All Saint's Day, November 1. During this day, it's like a family get together visiting the grave of our loved ones.
These three commercials are the perfect intro. Next Date and LDR. You should grab some Jollibee on the next reaction haha: I’m sure there’s one near you.
theres real good reason for those commercials. they are specials for occasions. those were valentines season commercials. they also had for christmas and mothers day commercials too
Tbh some foreigners doesn't get the nuances of this specific commercial(vow) with the context of oldschool courtship on the culture. That's why most of them focus on the "friendzone" aspect and burst out laughing. We are more hopeless romantic and invested, some people are realist and easily detached 😅 no hate with the reactors though, just something I've noticed
I already watch this clip on jollibee for almost a hundred times....but why it always makes me cry....😢😢😢 and the worse was i cry before it happenes 😅😅
Filipino here and personally I'm not a fan of these "heart tug" fast food ads. Just sell me the fookin food. 😂 Same with those McDo ads showing how happy their employees are.
My mother taught us when we were kids. If we ever get lost we must look for a nearest Jollibee and ask for help. It's a safer place back then than police stations and easier way to find us.
