Recently found your fabric. Now your videos. I so get you just I can't draw but I see designs and quilts in everything I see. I have gone comatose over your neon line. Now it's your linework line. It's crazy the quilts I have in my head. I am 68 today and disabled so I don't have a lot of fabric so looking at all the fabric you have makes me drool lol. Keep up the beautiful work. I absolutely love her fabrics and style. Some of her fabrics are very busy, but in a good way. Love, love, love it. The only hard thing with her fabrics are that I don't want to cut into it :) The wall paper is perfection!

As an artist, I love the idea of having each piece "rebel against," or contradict the prior piece in some way. What a great strategy for innovation.

WOW, Tula I am almost speechless...but I will try to string together a couple of thoughts as I am watching this video. First, THANK YOU for allowing us into your home and sharing a few ways on how you approach designing your gorgeous fabrics. I love that your home is in a re-purposed, previous century barn! It is truly lovely. While I am attracted to your fabrics, until today that is all I knew about you. After watching 3 videos you made on English paper piecing, I wanted to learn more about you and this video did not disappoint. What an inspiration you are.

I’ve not sewn in many years.. I’ve got a new Bernina machine coming in October. I find your talents are unbelievable and I’m a new Tula fan and I’m old enough to be your mother!. Love this video!!!! I'm not even a quilter or much of a sewer, but I love your personality, your drive, hearing your thought process, and of course your drawings!!! What an inspiration to design! I was watching Tim Holts on his fabric video just the other day and he mentioned you. He did a shout out to you for welcoming him into the fabric/quilting industry and how you were the only person who welcomed him or even talked to him at the quilting show years ago. He said he will never forget how nice you were. Your booth was right across from his and how everyone was gathered around your booth. I can see why....love your fabrics, love your humor, you're quite the inspiration and inventor!!!!

I have heard your name a million times on quilting videos, but I just found this video. OMG you are so talented in so many ways. This video was soooo interesting...and your house is amazing! So talented. I have always wanted to be an artist. My grandmother and granddaughters can create artistically. It skipped me. I quilt and sew and love to buy colorful fabric. Oh!!! I would love to see something representing " Sara". She was the worlds fastest animal. She broke her own record. She lived at the Cincinnati zoo. Sadly she was put down in January at 15 years old. Look it up and see her relationship with the lady that raised her. She was an amazing creature we were blessed to borrow. She will be missed.

I just came across this video and must say I found it fascinating. Having been a "quilter" for only a decade now I have heard of the fabric designer Tula Pink but assumed because of the unusual name the this was not a real person! What a delightful surprise to "meet" the actual person! I've now subscribed to this channel and am looking forward to watching more!

Thank you for making this awesome video. You have let us peek inside your head and see how the creative process works. I never imagined that so many things had to be taken into consideration when designing fabrics. You have explained your process very well and you are an amazing artist. Looking at the detail in your black and white drawings made me think that they would make a coloring book that would be so much fun to work with. I especially like your animal flowers or flower animals. Also thanks for the home tour, that is a beautiful repurposed building. There are a few carriage houses turned into homes in Duluth, Minnesota and I have always wanted to tour them. I live a half hour away from there up the north shore of Lake Superior. I love beautiful architecture.

Tula, that was so inspirational. I did not realize you were designing fabric, duh, and I quilt. Where have I been? Anyway, I'm loving the wild animal theme and the one one that looks like a deer is a Spring Buck. I took many photos of all those animal on a Safari to South Africa in 2004.
