In line with the government’s easing of lockdown restrictions due to Covid-19 from April 2021, the historic gardens of the medieval castle in West Sussex opened its gates to the public for it’s annual tulips festival. This time last year, the tulips festival went virtual due to the still on going pandemic.
However recent cold weather means that this year the tulips were at least 2- 3 weeks behind of the scheduled festival. If you watched our first video featuring Arundel castle gardens this year ( • Arundel Castle Gardens... ), the tulips were just starting to grow.
We weren’t disappointed the second time we visited the gardens of the medieval castle of Arundel at the end of April as we were greeted with astonishing display of tulips on one of the very few sunny days of the month too.
