The dead sea is a good phrase for it. Skiatook can be tough.

Explored numerous caves and hunted small prey all over the area before the lake was developed.

Could you give me breakdown of Copan or Birch in the future?

Yes. Planning to start these videos up again soon - having boat issues currently. Birch is on the list already. I will take a look at Copan

What program were you using to go back and forth between 2015 and current time?

Google earth pro. You can download the for free. The jump back in time feature only works on computer. The phone app doesn’t have it, at least that I can find

Hey Brandon - I have another question for you about Skiatook. I fish a kayak (meaning I have to stay pretty near the cove/ramp I put in at). With that in mind, what coves/ramps do you think would be the best spot to launch for crankbait fishing or hopping a jig/wobble head around some rock? Those are some of my favorite ways to fish.
@PrestigeWorldwideFishing

I would recommend launching at tall chief ramp (fall is good time) for smallmouth on crankbaits and traps around those steeper obvious main lake points and banks. I have a kayak friend that does the exact thing. If you are looking to drag a jig and crank the black dog area is your best bet majority of the year. The bank opposite of the west ramp is good for fishing wobble head. Also the first creek on your left as you are leaving the main creek is good spot. They release a lot of fish in that area from jackpots so the fish are there. Also, the bank on your right as you are leaving the northern ramp is good. On the main lake side it has really good transitions from deep to shallow that hold both smallmouth and largemouth. If you aren’t sure where I am talking, email me and I will send you screenshots. Good luck! prestigeworldwidefishing@gmail.com

I guess I should clarify, the main channel that feeds the lake really is from Hominy creek or what most of us around here call "big hominy" because there's a 2nd hominy creek that's obviously smaller. Anyway when it's colder like now you can find big blues in that channel all through the lake and that island you can see from the highway 20 bridge has a nice channel running by it and year round it's excellent. We often go over on it and bank fish & even deer hunt on it during bow season

Ok nice! I haven't ever been up that far... good to know though, thanks

Any chance after you get through the bigger lakes you might talk about some of the medium/smaller lakes also? I fish kayak, so I rarely am on the big-name lakes, but I am all over the medium/smaller ones.

That’s a great idea! I have fished several of the smaller lakes as well. Any in particular you are curious about?
