I'm lowkey jealous lol I live in a more rural area so there's no hope of getting an outlet here. My only options are winning a retail launch lotto or playing the ebay reseller gauntlet to get anything I want.
So sorry to hear you may never get an outlet in your area. I used to have to travel a state away to enjoy the outlet and then one was built nearly 2 hours away, but I never thought it'd hit this close to home. Definitely blessed. That is an excellent concern. I too hope it doesn't have that same effect. One thing I can say is, Woodland and Tulsa Premium Outlets are both owned by Simon. They appear to be a very well managed mall company. I don't think Promenade nor Eastland were owned by them. With that said, there is hope that both locations will stick around for quite some time, especially considering the new Woodland construction for Scheels. Not to mention, a lot of Eastsiders will likely bypass that long drive to the outlet if they can just stop by Woodland for similar products.
