If Tulsi had won the Democratic primary, I would have voted for her in 2016. Instead, she was black-listed by the Democratic Party for going after Kamala in the debates.
I gave the Democrats one more chance with Tulsi. Then they showed me that they are even worse than I thought. I sort of can understand them being upset with Trump but the moment they started calling Tulsi ever name that they called Trump I realized that they would rather force a candidate on the people than listen to the people.
@ichibonfriend2923 OK, Tulsi didn't run in '16 with Bernie & Hillary. She ran in '20 with them both but she was blackballed by the Democratic Party in '16 because Tulsi was the Vice-Chairwoman of the DNC and threw her support behind Bernie instead of Hillary which was the unforgivable sin. I was a Berner too and will always respect and appreciate what she did for Sanders.

Charles, I owe an apology to you and your brothers and sisters who served our country during the Vietnam era. I was a teenage hippie-chick during those years, very much opposed to the war. I never spoke out against the soldiers but I realize now that I never spoke out for you, either. All the while you and your fellow soldiers were risking your lives, giving up the safety of your homes, exposing yourselves to physical and emotional traumas we could never imagine...and ultimately you were let down by our own goverment. Thank you from my soul and heart for the sacrifices you made for clueless hippie-chicks like me. I can't repay you but I can tell you sincerely that as I matured you came to be a hero to me. In 2016, after almost 40 years as a registered Democrat, I abandoned the party and registered as an independent (which I had really been all along), for the same reason Gabbard resigned as vice-chair of the DNC: the blatent favoritism shown toward Hillary.

As a vet, I learned things that gave me insight into how the Clintons got where they are and have suspicions of other events that tell me to remain on the opposite side of the continent from them and Obama, and that may not be far enough.

I emailed Tulsi’s office a year and a half ago, begging her to run for President. She is smart, level-headed, and has broad appeal to independents and moderates.
Tulsi is an odd ball. She was a democrat but keenly understands the concept of reasonable moderate government. Coherent and up to speed on the issues and understands the constitution. Why didn’t the democrats develop her as a candidate? She could easily wind up in the trump administration where her pragmatism will be put to use.
The Libertarian Party should lead a series of debates with RFK, cornel West, and the greens in all the states where they are struggling with ballot access. If the debates were substantive and respectful the people would watch on RU-vid, podcasts and social media. We don’t need the main stream media.

Tulsi is one of my favorite people in the political realm. All integrity. None of the corruption. I don't share a lot of her views on the nuances of specific issues, but because I feel she can be trusted, I would vote for her in an instant.

Look at certain R nominees who, in order to be allowed to debate, pledged to support the eventual nominee, and then reneged on the pledge, or withheld and begrudgingly endorsed much later. In short, RINOs divide the GOP, sometimes crossing party lines to defeat conservative initiatives, and making a mockery of the word _effective._ No fealty to party for the sake of winning.
I enjoy hearing this woman because she speaks to common sense. I would like to see her actions before I jump on her bandwagon. Joe Biden described Obama as a clean, articulate black man. I have no idea if that was a compliment to Obama, or that Joe was expressing surprise that a black man could be clean and articulate? As for Gabbard....she certainly talks the talk. I want to see how she reacts to critical situations when they arise.
