If your tumble dryer is not heating and you have checked heater element thermostats and NTC sensors, then it is a high probable chance that the heater relay on the printed circuit board has become faulty. It is such a cheap fix

I have a Hoover dryer and they were wanting £100 for a new PCB! This is the kind of tutorial I wanted to see when only 1 component is dead. Well done.

Thanks for this really informative video. I have beko dcu 7230. Problem: at the end of a program clothes are wet (not perfectly dry as it should be). Tubes, filters, pump, condenser are clean. Sensors on heater and drum are clean and work (I've checked resistance for different temps). Thermostat is ok. Both heaters are good. Now the question do you know test sequence to activate heater 1 or heater2? Sometimes it is a combination of buttons on front panel. One push some combination of buttons to activate some functions. If it is not our case, how to activate separatelly heater1, heater2 and both heaters? Now only one heater is ON. Also, may I ask you for Service manual (or at least wiring diagram)?

Is it possible the relay can fail in the on position causing the heating circuit to be continuously heating until the fuse trips. Thanks

Hi I have a Indesit idce 5480. no heat, fault code f04, tested heater and thermostat and thermistor all OK any idea s thank-you

Why do you need to remove the relay to test it? Can be tested without going to all the trouble of removing.
