Tuned Machine 45T Motor Install & Initial Impressions 

I just installed a 35t tuned motor with 9t pinion and it has awesome punch.

Hey Man, great video! You should just quit playing around and go get that HobbyWing Fusion 1800! You "might" get the kind of control and punch from a Holmes , but I'd put the Fusion up against ANY other motor out there, and beat it. The silky smooth crawl control, mixed with the brushless Punch will make you wonder why you ever waited. All-in-one motor saves weight and space, plus all kinds of programming options. I can't stress enough, brother, you are wasting your precious crawl time with anything else! All you need to do is get one. After that get a pinion gear that will give you a top speed of around 7mph, and you will be set up for KingKrawler! Well almost, you should really get some 3Brothers Anti-Foams (dual stage) Then, all your crawler friends down there, will be wondering how this "newbie" is out performing the veterans! But for real, I'm glad to see so many guys in my state that enjoy this hobby! Keep Crawling!

Bro i love your rc videos! I finally got my rgt in from alliexpress and bro I absolutely love it. I installed a metal front bumper stinger style and a winch. Threw a lipo at it and wow it performs amazing. I relocated the battery towards the center/front and adjusted my panhard bar and swapped out to 80w shock oil in just the front and wow its a beast! Cant wait to do more upgrades! Your videos have inspired me to get back into rc so much! I have bought 4 trucks in the past 3 weeks hahaha. But my rgt is my favorite. Its so sick!

27 turn 550 motor 18 tooth pinion 3s 2200mah and you'll be happy

Holmes hobbies crawlmaster sport 15 turn or even the trailmaster sports motors are good all around $20. You need to tune that 1080 esc for max punch and more reverse output. And run 3S if your not already. Volt up and gear down.

You can go for a 3s 2200mah 45c

I don’t know if anyone mentioned this but on the hobbywing esc you should be able to tune the initial punch or something along that line however if you turn it up too much it will put a bit more strain on your motor and could wear it out a bit quicker

You should have brought the 35T 3 slot or faster. 45T is way too slow. I have trx4 sport with 1080 and 3 slot 35T motor. It wasnt slow, but it wasnt fast either. So i went the outrunner route :D im waiting for my 70A am32 esc for my 3542 1850kv outrunner motor. But im still on budget! :D

Don't waste money on the Holmes. Get the $25 Surpass 5 slot 16 turn.

With the 1080 esc you're using, you can put 100% reverse. Looks like you're in 50%.

I have the Holmes crawlmaster sport 10t. $20.00. And the 1080 hobbywing esc. I run on 3s crawls great and plenty of wheel speed. I don’t know what the portal axles do as far as gearing it down?
