Tunguska After Missile Nerf 

The Tunguska is going down to 10.7 next patch. I understand that they nerfed it, but literally all other SAMs like it are going to 11.7. ADATs, ITO, Flarakrad, etc… An entire br bracket difference. Also seeing the 2S6 at 9.7 is going to be an absolute nightmare.

Giving Tunguska better missiles and moving it up to other SAMs ❌ Nerfing Tunguska, moving it down and adding absurdly OP Pantsir ✅

As someone that has used the tunguska extensively before the nerf. It makes me feel sad how the missiles performs now.

You don't have to lock the aircraft to know the distance, just look at your radar screen, the distance on it is divided by 4 with the 4 circles. So if your radar is set to 20 km and you see the aircraft on the second circle, you know it's at 10 km. It will be 5 km on the 1st and 15 km on the 3rd circle.

I dont even hit the tareget this is so broken now. R.I.P 2S6

While it seems to still be usable I can't find myself to play it anymore, the missile physics make it such a difficult task that I won't even try. They didn't have to break it just to have an excuse to introduce the Pantsir, with the upcoming br changes these 2 SAMs will be at different br brackets (at 10.7 you get downtiered quite often) so why ruin the 2S6? hope they bring back the old physics some time soon. I'd love to play it again without suffering.

Last I checked, you were able to spam all the missiles without losing tracking on any of them. I could've swore it has a system where you will lose tracking the moment you shoot another missile. Saclos, no? Either a bug or intentional

IDK but its really bad now .,.... It takes me like 3 or more hits to kill a drone if its 8-10 km away

Just bring the Boxer or DIEHL system tho i doubt gaijin would add Diehl...ugly ass thing but could bring balance with its 20km IRIS-T SLS and the thing is basically a TLAR but is ugly asf

I think all SAMs with SACLOS-like mechanism got this new missile dynamics, right? Because in my Flarakrad, my VT-1 loses a lot of energy while climbing and a small change makes the missile go crazy, and it's annoying because it's quite often the IRST stops tracking suddenly that makes a waste of missiles, and Flarakrad has only 2 missiles per reload thus makes you vulnerable once you fail bith due to IRST not locking.

Really hope they find a way to balance CAS and SPAA soon. Doubt it will ever happen sadly

russian "main" while having abrams leos cv90 premiums, all i can say is that playing russian 8.3 + is.......and 8.3 isnt that better since you always get spammed with 8.7s china full thermals and 9.0 l44s.. tbh theres no reason playing russia, except a few tanks that will perform the rest are shit. tunguska fucking useless, strella useless unless someones flying at 2km distance and doesnt know about your existence, helis are useless while dont have ka, mi4v is crap, 24a (compared to Z11..... thats 8.7 with thermals for reasons......) is crap while there's always an ozelot or some tow2b and tbh you get hit by 10 .50 and go down while alouette needs 2500 rounds from shilka and strella cant lock shit.. best tanks in russian TT bmp3 Shturm. russian tech tree is dead.

What is even the point in playing the Tunguska anymore. What is the point of a modification which upgrades the radar and missiles. It sucks so much now all because they wanted the Pantsir to feel necessary to add to the game and to be worth it. I feel bad for anyone who spent actual money on the ZPRK 2S6 or bought the talisman.

I only got the 2S6 now and its so painful to play, any jet can literally toy with you and theres almost no way you can hit it

I've played both the Tunguska and the Otomatice since the nerf but the Tunguska should not go down a br the Otomatice is 2 times worst but it is going up a br it is literally just of more Italy suffering and Russian bias

Your videos are great tutorials, i just unlocked top tier SPAAs and didn't know how to use the radar stuff, watched your videos and now i feel confident

Rather than nerfing the missile like they did they should have just reduced its effective range imo

I haven't touched my 2s6 since the nerf, the missiles are legit unusable. I dont have the pantsir yet so I've found the 2s38 to be better than the 2s6 for now.

One of the things I prefer about the Tunguska over the Pantsir is the mobility and positioning potential. You can even hull down with it. Too bad it is so mid now...

Can someone explain to me why tunguska rockets was a problem, but shturm-s is ok? I literally killed more aircraft ok shturm-s than any other spaa, not to mention killing drones and heli is easy too

I've been spading/mastering the Pantsir so I havent checked this change out yet. Even with this nerf I don't think the Tungus belongs anywhere below 10.0! 8:25 Oh you have no idea how much this annoys me while playing SPAA. Especially when the teammate decides it's a good idea to drive up next to me. 😡

The only high tier SPAA I can play now is Pansir, sometimes ITO-90M when I playing Sweden. They're broke the SAM missiles so much :(

personally, i prefer tunguska has old missile characteristics but has max br, rather than nerfed missile but at lower br

I Play on console and its kind of an advantage for the 2S6 because you have more Control over the missile

Absolutely unplayable, hopefully it is going to 10.7 and there is the pantsir to compensate. Remember, nothing happened at tianamen square and there is no russian bias

If you only have a tunguska as top tier AA you're pretty much defenseless against any semi competent cas player...

@Hunter from what I can tell depends on the enemy aircraft approach you're basically letting them fly into your missiles when you're using IRST correct?

Its still much better spaa then otomatic and yet, 2s6 going to 10.7 and oto to 11.3...

How big is this nerf?

I've found that IRST is actually a LOT worse than the normal radar mode. Yeah its really good for not alerting the enemy that you have locked them but as soon as you fire a missile the lock just glitches back and forwards making guiding the missile so much more difficult.

can you do the VT1 next? i'm just nearly finish my flarakrad and curious what it look like after nerf
