This is from a group of five or six videos that were unlisted but RU-vid was about to delete them unless I published them. I was doing this video for a ham in what used to be called Yugoslavia who had the same service monitor and the same Duplexer that I had. It's also an example of things I like to do on a work bench.
II realize your comment on duplexer tuning was from way back in April 2023. I've had computer problems and missed a lot of email for a while. Now I'm going back and replying to people in my past, so to speak. I used general sweep settings. The idea is to be able to see the entire part of the spectrum that you're concerned with while tuning. You want your TX frequency to be null out from every frequency other than the required one and you want the RX side to be tuned to where it's able to receive a weak signal and not being bothered by the intended tx power. Two frequencies are not related to each other but the transmitter and receiver can receive unintended noise. The idea is to keep both frequencies out of each other's way. I hope that's an adequate explanation. I'm guessing that you probably got good advice from someone without the problems that I've been experiencing this year.
