Isenhouer bros are a couple of bad ass dudes, no doubt. I like watching these guys- as they are regular dudes without some huge team backing them. Working on their own stuff- as James said “ giving the million dollar guys a run for their money “ bad ass all around. I’d like to meet them someday, buy em a beer. Thanks Terra crew for filming, and to the Isenhouer team for giving grass roots guys everywhere something to shoot for.
The primary function of an Underdrive on a long travel application is to add longevity to the driveshaft, not adding top end. The Driveshaft bends ever so slightly when the suspension cycles.. so even a 20% reduction in drive shaft rpm is a really big deal. Just look at all the Drive shafts that explode on stationary Dyno runs.. now imagine a dinged up barley balanced driveshaft violently going through 20"+ of suspension travel. Long Shafts that spin fast are very complex.. and just to drive this point home: The F-35 Lightnings biggest design and R&D cost came from developing the Drive Shaft connecting the engine to the vertical lift fan without causing excessive vibration.
Watching this gave me chills! I have always been an off road guy. That high horsepower trophy truck sound gets me every time. Super cool team! Keep up the good videos terra crew.
That new build sounds amazing! The team's getting ready for some serious competition. I must say, I'm very happy and excited about where this is going! Congratulations to the Isenhouer brothers for being strong and coming back! Sic!
Videos are killer! What's up on the shirts tho? Plan on getting more large in stock? Hook a hommie up with the destroy club red long sleeve, large please!!?
