OStar did my ‘22 MkV Supra’s FEMTO on BM3 OTS, BN downpipe I had cerakoted, and XHP Stg2 trans. I’ve always wondered how much improvement I’d get with an E50 map which I thought was included with the jnitial package and maybe a revision to the XHP settings.. or even a custom tune 🤔. E30 vs 93 doesn’t have noticeable difference so I always use 93. I’ve been very happy so far with my “basic” OTS Stg2 but I probably just need the setup for E85 to be ecstatic. Will definitely work with Ostar again once I graduate from my Supra and decide to get an M3.
Great question. The tune is somewhat conservative. Personally our shop G80 had at least 60 1/4 mile runs before we decided to upgrade, so I’d say it passed the reliability test.
how hard is it to get 600whp on stokc turbos with jsut downpipe, tune, and full exhaust ? I am shocked the car only made 550whp as usually expect more given the strength of s58 motor .
It can easily make 600whp on stock turbos by changing to the E85 stage 2 file. If you need more help feel free to call the office and we will be happy to help.
A custom 93 Tune will get you 600whp. The S58 from the factory is great; all you need are downpipes and a proper tune will get 600 wheels. Intakes and all that other stuff does little to nothing for performance on this platform. If you're going big turbo, that's where the bolt-ons will count, but until then, downpipes and a proper tune.
