You’ll make 500whp on Ethanol with no problem and right now we don’t know if the turbines are any different than the ones found on my Red Sport. It does in fact have different turbo housings because of the integrated electronic BPV’s, but either way it should make some jam. Stock it didn’t seem like a very exciting car but as you Do more mods it’s getting more interesting. It’s crazy that they’re already working on tuning though which is kinda cool. The C8 seemed like a nightmare when it was this new.
@@maproductions8886 no it’s a 370z with some body work and a q60 engine. Ecu, ect ect. All those things have been out for YEARS. The C8 was new from the ground up. You don’t know enough about what’s going on and it shows…

Do NOT put a blow off valve on those turbos. The car comes with recirculating valves that helps keep the air instead of wasting it. Just get a good, cold air intake and upgraded turbo inlet. My 21 GTI has tons of turbo sounds when letting off.

@@isaihaguirre6533 I mean yeah that's literally the point of getting aftermarket intakes for the most part. 80% of the time the stock ones are better anyways because they're enclosed and don't suck up hot air from the engine like most aftermarket ones do. But there are a few that come with boxes to keep the hot air out and you also get the sound
I own a 2018 q50 with the vr30 and with him having HFC, and knowing TJ he’s going to ball out with the HPFP, LPFP, injectors, hopefully intakes, and with an e85 tune he can easily make 600. E85 is amazing for the vr30 because of how e85 runs cooler. The air to water intercoolers are on the top of the motor making e85 an even better choice.
I’m glad the build is going in steps so we can know what each mod does. But the speed of the build is fine IMO. It was pretty obvious that stock lacks personality plus it going to Sema, I’m excited to see what a modded Z can look like. Good on ya team
For the too fast comments. I think y'all don't realize that at this point. Tj and the group are not your driveway mechanic anymore. It's a business and have dues, partnerships. It's his job job. When buddy comes, the new guy for the 370. He didn't just came out for an afternoon to hang out with the boys. No he's hired to work on the car. It's a business. And we are lucky enough that someone brings us along to show the progress and take time to make video and edit everything

I think most of the complaints stem from the RX7 days. Most of the OG fanbase I feel like regards that as the "glory days" of this channel because it was a from the ground up long term build that took nearly a year to complete even though there were consistent vlogs of it, which is what I think most people want again. Tbh I love all the videos you make but I can understand the pov that some of these builds are going by too fast and you're just hopping from car to car to car without letting anyone build a connection to anything. Just my opinion though, much love as always!
Personally.. I really love the build for every Sema from Teej👍🏼 not just I am able to watch the progress of the build but also seeing the accomplishment of making thing happen! Keep it up and look forward to your trip to Japan.. R34, R32, S15.. i am guessing these 3 would be the cars you bought there

As a vr30 owner I would really recommend a good intake setup like bonnie and clyde racing and if you want more turbo noise, if you want this car to run 10s on e with just 1 more mod get there a2a kit Also shout out to Bonnie and clyde racing again on breaking the stock block record 803whp/558 torque
I feel like there was some beef targeted towards Stradman- saying how he spends all this money that he doesn’t need to be spending & that you don’t want to be like him. Aside from Strad’s car addiction, he’s quite the minimalist. He would have lived in & slept in only a garage if he was able to. His house has been a long work in progress & was not an impulse buy.

My VR30 stock turbo fbo e70 mix tuned by Racebox made 500whp exaclty and 535wtq. Its a fun car and the Z will be a total sleeper for people unfamilar to the VR.
hey TJ! Love the content. As a VR30 guy myself, I love seeing you working w these engines! i myself currently drive a 17 Q60 and love it! One thing I’d definitely say is to try and upgrade to the Stage 2 Pure Turbos from AMS. That combined w all ur supporting mods will be great! MKS blow off valves along w cold air intakes will definitely bring out that turbo noise ur looking for! either way tho, excited to see what else you got lined up for the Z!
Lol i've never heard anyone complain about modding too fast. First week i got m340 i took it to Injen as a test car for their intake and chargepipe and VRSF Catted downpipe with a tune. Following week I put wheels.Then my car got hit and i took advantage and put an aftermarket front bumper
Nissan tech here, at 5:00 jumba was talking about preventing the car from cutting power to save the battery while flashing the ecu, turning the hazards on is how you prevent the car from doing this on nissans
