Yet another great video. I like how informational and high quality they are. I have become more confident in repairing my own dirtbikes because of your videos.
I will be purchasing a TT-R125L. One so I can teach my wife to ride, but also to have fun and definitely learn to work on bikes with. That last part is thanks to your videos.
Thanks Cam!, I have cleaned and Re-greased many open bearings, but I realize now, I have wasted hundreds of dollars on new sealed bearings. I just cleaned and re-greased my Sister n laws rear wheel this past weekend. 💪👍🏻
I’ve always used a little bit of clear coat spray paint on the inside of the grip, slides on like butter but then the clear coat acts like a glue and stays on forever
Awesome Vids Cam, really informative. So much is riding on wheel bearing, I wonder why you don't just replace them - they're really cheap for the job they do and removing the neoprene seal from a roller bearing - ain't no way that'll seal correctly, no matter how gentle you are... They have lived their life, change em buddy! Keep up the great work, you're an inspirational man! My hat is off to you mate.
Hey man I love your videos they help me a lot I have a Yamaha blaster and we have asked more than about 10 2 stroke kings and they all said no and there is no one that will do it would you be able to do something like that?
Hey ik this is late but for my grips i like to use this tool i bought for my air compressor to but grips on golf clubs. You basically have a little needle of air and poke it through the middle of the side of the grip, blow air and push it on easily.
hey, my friend gave me his ttr 125 L to fix it and I wanted to know if I should clean out the gas tank. It has been sitting for a few years and i cleaned the carb already and also how do I clean out a gas tank.
I never thought of using compressed air I all ways used dish soap to slip it on then let the soap dry I worked but you would have to wait like 2 hours but the grip would not move
No grip glue will work as long as its not raining. One rain ride and those grips will rotate as the water makes its way under the grips. I only mention that now that the winter riding season is here.
Great stuff! Just subscribed. A Question; I'm looking into buying some bigger wheels for my Dirtbike, going from 12"-14" to 14"-17" Pretty sure the frame of the bike support this, but my problem is the Wheel bolt. I need to go up from 12mm to 15mm diameter. Is there some bolts out there that has like a 15mm on the middle part, and 12mm on each end? And what about the breaks, i guess i need to change them as well due to incomparebility issues?
Hey Cam, cleaned the carb out of my sons TTR90 and raised the needle clip up to the middle (it was on the bottom) now the carb overflow drain plug leaks when i turn the fuel on!!, took it back out and put the needle clip back to the bottom setting, also I replaced the drain plug, still comes out? never was like this before, the float level seems within spec but should I adjust it anyway, any ideas??
When you going to make some apparel for ReVive moto? Like some shirts or hoodies. I know I can't be the only one that wants to promote the business. Keep up the good work!
why wouldn't ya turn to face bearings down then spray. for the effort i would have just replaced bearings. never put used grease back in tubs, no grip adhesive they rotate when wet.,
They make a "grease needle" with regular grease fitting zirk that you use with standard grease gun of you really want to save yourself time. Same size as an IV needle roughly.
hi. Been watching your chanel with a lot of interest. brilliant videos, thanks. Have you got any tips for re-doing wheels on my 07 klx300r. They are faded and pitted. Thanks.
Thanks for watching! Which part of the wheel are you referring to? Rim or hub? Powdercoating is a great option or brightening them up with an acid cleaner.
I use hair spray on my grips instead of grip glue, it's just alot cleaner when u have to replace em.. If i had compressed air on hand i would use that method.. Another great video..
