Just put my 29LTD classic in my pickup with a Tram Mag mount. You sound like a salty Navy Chief that knows his electronics. Thanks for your service and the tuning tutorial!

This is just the basic tuning that the instruction manual tells you how to do. This is not the same tuning that you would pay for at a radio shop. This won’t increase the standard range the radio gets out of the box
No you don't have to have it for it to work. The pa speaker just lets you know what Broadcasting out on the air. Most CB's have a internal speaker which is just as good 👍.
Hawkeye you may need to put dish soap in a like a salad bowl get your antenna and coat it in the dish soap let it soak over night not in it but splash some dish soap on the antenna don’t soak it. Do this only if the antenna has a rubber coating.
Murciegalo Mamon WTF kinda shit is flowing out of your mouth? I've lived here literally my entire life and own my own land, house, and I also own a very successful machineshop, so probably own more land than yourself.
Interesting, I went to Electronic Tech School for 2 years to learn how to tune Communications, why didn't they tell me I could have gone to this guy and learned it in 2 seconds. I could have saved thousands of dollars in tuition. If only I knew? a shame!
