Excellent presentation.nice to be reminded of the glorious Fatimid era. I plan to visit Tunisia and Cairo for a pilgrimage .

Tunisia, for me as a Canadian, was certainly an excellent tourist destination, beautiful, economical and full of history.

My wife and I toured Tunisia in 2008. Kairouan was the highlight but we couldn’t go into the masjid as it was Maulid. Please note that today’s Ismailis have nothing in common with the Fatimids.
