Well done guys. It's just amazing. And Marwan is the boss. He's so talented. This is Tamerza. South of Tunisia. Where there r 2 nice waterfalls and a lot of springs of water. It's a small village but it's worth to visit. I liked Tamerza n m looking forward to visit it again. Thanks for sharing this video :)
Of all the bagpipes around the world, the mezoued is the one that kept its originality the most. Still made pretty much the same way it was made more than a thousand ago. The bag made of a skiing of goat and the chanter pipes with reed. Very simple yet mesmerizing.
I am the first in my family not to be born in Tunisia. I even hated this music as a kid growing up in America, but now, it's just like EdugeBDroN said, "it gets in my blood". Impossible not to light up and want to dance. Thank you for posting this.

@hamed253 i think that tunisian music has some back ground from oriental music as I read that in the past they were also ruled by the turkish empire. This surely had big influence on the music and on the food. For example they have a kind of cake that it's named "Baklawa" that it's well-know in all countries who were under turkish dominatio.. Where do you live in U.S.?

also sounds the same as traditional Makedonian music, must have been the ancient music genre of the ancient times, where everyone shared it, cos it is even present in china, india, similar singing has been found in north east australian aboriginies.
@Nojoum2003sahara I live in US now, but I am from Tehran. the music I mentioned is popular in south Iran. Could you find any? I am getting to understand that Iranian and Tunisians are same in many cultural aspects.
