i think people from non english speaking countries, talk faster than we do...i swear i don't speak english as fast as tuomas speaks finnish! lol....he has a sexy voice...finnish...fuckin best language!!!
@PingouinBleu1 Here in Brazil portuguese in the school is difficult , cause in the language there are a lot of rules , I think that s Finnish is the same thing ,with a lot of rules in gramatical !!!!!
This is a finnish TV interview so they speak finnish with Tuomas.Anette don't speak finnish so they using english with her.I think that Anette knows about what they are speaking.Here in RU-vid is same type interviews in english too.
@DLidersBand I read some rules about finnish, it doesn't seem that bad, but did you see, wow long words, wow accents, wow it looks complicated! :D But it's still beautiful!
That also summons up the whole interview quite well, 'cause one of the main points later on is that after T left, they weren't looking for a clone but rather a new kind of singer. He praises A, saying she's doing her job wonderfully. He's asked about the strenghts of Nightwish, and he answers humility; they've never had the attitude that 'they'll go and conquer the States', and honesty. And he says his key to keeping calm over the hard times has been keeping himself insanely busy. Hope I helped
everybody says that but honestly, look at wikipedia compared to encarta, they have pretty much the same information on many things and you can't change shit around on encarta and if you change something on wikipedia it wouldn't last long anyways
Why do they ask only a few questions in english, and they answer back in Finnish??? They need to do these interviews all in english and Finnish, it's so frustrating not understanding! :)

Hmmm... I live in Finland, I speak Finnish and I know that the interviewers and Tuomas are Finns BUT I think they should not talk to Tuomas in Finnish. Anette hears them saying her name, "Nightwish" and a lot of stuff she doesn't understand and is surely a bit confused. They should speak all the time one language that is understood by everyone (I recommend English as my Swedish sux :D)
Well, I'll tell you: it's veery difficult. It isn't difficult to pronunciate (because some sounds are similar to portuguese, my mother tongue) but those big words like "kaksikymmentäyhdeksän" (29, i think, and I don't know if it's right) just kill me. I gave up learning Finnish because I already struggle to learn Chinese.
Annette says her voice is different to Tarja's... There is no freaken comparrison. |Toumas is a meastro and one of the greatest songwriters - i agree but he might have been going through a midlife crisis when he appointed annette.
Why do they do that on Anette? How would you feel if the people interview you start speaking with the guy next to you in a language that you don't understan? Huh. O well
Them check out Tarja's solo album, which is sweet. And shut it about Anette she brought a new freshness to nightwish. And evanescence is cool as well. Open you mind.

I don't think any of you is understand what big of a change it is to get a new front line singer for a band. Their success is gonna depend on how good they can all fit together now and create good unique music.
I think only for respect at Annette the whole interview should`ve been done in English, cuz she doesnt speak finish and its just so ackward listening to people and not knowing what theyre talking about, Look at her face on 3:54, she is definitely feeling at least a little unconfortable.
Because this interview was made for Finnish music Tv. Tuomas is finnish, so he could recieve questions in finnish and answer back in this language. Anette is swedish, and probably she doesn't speak finnish, so he could only receive questions in english and answer back in English. It's simple :-)
No way, Tarja wasn't all that was Nightwish for me. Behind Tarja were also Tuomas, Marco, Jukka ed Emppu. They were the group! Not only Tarja! She was the singer but the true soul of Nightwis is Tuomas... this is my opinion about it. For Anette, I think she's a great singer. Not like Tarja, that's true. But good and worthy of respect.

Accept the fact, tarja is gone, annette is there but nightwish is stil nightwish, and when u love it and call urself a real fan, then stfu and enjoy the music :)
correction.... TUOMAS makes nightwish, nightwish. both Tarja and Anette are great singers, they're both just very different. true, Anette has some big shoes to fill, but she's doing a great job. sure, she doesnt sing like Tarja, but she's still very talented.

why cant they speaci english?????????? i mean they wrote songs in english but never speaks english. ????? now i see that after watching the video it was recorded. how sad.
