Nightwish are touring at the moment in the States and Canada. According to Tuomas Holopainen everything has gone superbly and the new singer Anette has been received warmly. Perhaps some check the first 3 to 4 songs, especially the older fans and wonder how Anette is going to manage but after hearing her, they kinda melt. We have done now 14 gigs and I´ve seen only 1 middle finger. No rotten tomatoes thrown at the stage. So, mostly this has been absolute ecstasy.
Well, in Toronto, after gig, we had a surprise guest waiting for us at the backstage. There was a raccoon eating peanuts on top of my stuff. Then he came to eat and hang out with us for a while. Then he went to sleep on top of other stuff, Tuomas laughs.
