Believe it or not hip hop is a reflection of the societal problems as well as the ignorance that we as African Americans go through, it’s also a part of the culture but each artist is different not every rapper preaches violence Tupac was a young man that cared deep about his people but he was also human and if you listen to his music he knew he was going to die, but he also believed in god and started to study the Quran towards the end of his life which is confirmed but his former group members Napoleon from the outlaws who is now Muslim . All Eyez On Me, the title of one his albums came from how he was in the media constantly surrounded by drama with people, fellow artist and the law he Tupac still supported the Black Panthers, black freedom militia groups such actions led the FBI to have a 5000 page report on him due to his family connections with the panthers and civil rights leaders. I don’t think the imam made a good example with Tupac will all due respect.

Tupac was a revolutionary. He represented the oppressed poor black and brown masses of America and the third world. Unfortunately he was not muslim.

@@umarhussain5192 as Muslims we believe God is the most just Judge, therefore we are not. God knows the states of people who left this world, not us. Certain scholars have spoken about the death of non-Muslims that never knew about Islam, and non-Muslims that were never taught true Islam. And there view on this matter was quite different then yours, and with all due respect I don't think you are a scholar brother. God blessing us with Islam is not a badge for us to declare other people akhirah, as He tells us in the Quran "Surely your Lord will judge between them by His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing". [27:78].

I actually respect Tupac for all he's been through. I just hate or when I see Curry invested Arab and Desi kids trying to act hard like Tupac, acting like they know the hardships of living around hands and violence. That's why I'm happy the Sheikh made this video because he's trying to knock some sense into these Muslim kids to not fantasize a life that they idolize but don't understand.

@@fakrulislam9333 just because Arabs/Muslims interpret 2Pac music and image to be just about violence, speaks to their own world view and is simply highlighting a part of their personality that would've been revealed one way or another. The idiot in the video is talking about the last year of 2pacs life... have you heard any of 2pacs albums? He was extremely diverse with his topics but kept a conscious undertone in most of his songs. Yall shouldn't speak on what you don't understand.

The documentary you watched bro, was probably lying about his life and second, he used to talk about how rich is getting richer and poor is getting poorer. Yes he did swear and cuss but at the same time, he was good poet. Who stood up for us black people. It wasn’t about west coast or east coast.. He knew tooo much and he was gonna spill things out.. So what did they do shut him up, just like they do with everyone else. ✌🏾

Also, the gentleman speaking is highly incorrect regarding his comment about "Tupac growing up in a normal type of neighborhood...normal for black people...." That is totally incorrect. Most Black people....or African Americans...DO NOT live in poor neighborhoods just because they are Black or African Americans. So that was a very ignorant statement. I am a African American and Christian living in an Upper Middle class neighborhood btw. Peace✌🏾

“THOSE” black people are oppressed, so normally they grow up with this mentality that they are a victim. WOW. With all due respect brother what would you know about the black experience in the US. You are making a generalize talk on something and someone you really don’t know to much about. The way you framed that statement tells me a lot. I am not a nationalist, I’m Muslim first, who happens to be American of African decent. Mother of 8, grandmother of 15. I’ve lived and grew up in this country all of my life, so I think I have a little better perspective on the black people in America. Brother you are very knowledgeable, no doubt, but please, next time you want to talk on black people in America do a little more research

And the "victim mentality" that those black people have like you said is because they are actually victim! And you said 2pac grew in a normal neighbourhood....what is normal for you? Oh yes he did think he was going to die early... If you know anything about Tupac you'll know he predicted his own death in almost every song towards the end of his career. I think you know nothing about tupac. 🤦🏽‍♂️
