@@shaquilleburton1611 not really, Pac’s life was a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions. It mimicked the black panthers fall from community benefactor to community plague perfectly. What Troy LaRaviere and principal Abdul Mohammad are doing in Chicago today is far more inspirational.
Apparently this was unplanned and KISS just walked in and the crew of the Grammys just let them through. They had no one planned to introduce KISS so Tupac just said, "Fuck it! I'll do it!" Such an amazing moment.
@brandondetroitfanmichaels4325 No. In this Grammy Awards, 2Pac was nomminated to Best Rap Album with Me Against the World, he should have won that. All Eyez on me is nothing compared to MATW, tracks with real content. Naughty By nature Won that award and they didn't even air it on TV. Look it up. Now rap & hiphop controls all these awards shows.
@@duboliver2000 & you, you sound crazy crazy lol. People still got mad love for Tupac to this day, every radio station plays the whole day full of his music on his bday here in Detroit & the day he died, which was 27 years ago. So you must be referring to someone else lol. He’s got murals of him all over the world bruh 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@posted-11minutes-agoim sayin tho..Pac was that genius..he knew that once he was gone we would yet mourn him atleast by keeping him relevant…that song “How Long Will They Mourn Me” was spot on
@@duboliver2000 aww man I’m so sorry bro, I totally misread what you said in ur first comment, I thought I seen “we’ve yet to mourn him” I think it’s from the dubbie I smoked one of my only days off 🤦♂️🤦♂️ my bad G 💯🫡
Everyone whose met Tupac love him. Even Will Farrell said he’s the nicest guy, opposite of his persona. I also think artists like to give their fans a good show;)
There's a bunch of stories from the Outlawz of how Pac would bump Hootie and Alannis Morrisette songs along with like Don McLean and different R and B. He loved all kinds of music, rap just happened to be his destiny.
Well he actually knew Alana Morrisette from high school, I heard. Also Jada pinkett and a few other celebs too on a personal level ..all while in high school!
I will still say if tupac would've lived he would be a mega star even if his music wasn't hot anymore he could act and he was just crazy talented I couldn't see him fading like a lot of 90s stars have over time
Fantasticly done! Run DMC presented Hard Rock into Hip hop world with Aerosmith. And Tupac did the same introducing Kiss. More love in this world and it would be a better place. I love Tupac and i love Kiss.
This lineup of nominees is possibly the most culturally iconic list of songs possible. Eagles, Hootie, All4One, and the Theme from Friends is craaaaaaazy
This man was a true star. Just exudes charisma. We were robbed. Its crazy to think of how big a year he was having in '96 and one bad decision at that fight had such huge consequences
Honestly it was more than that fight. I think that crip was scouting them out. His cousin admitted they were there because diddy put a hit on him. Also suge was doing some really fishy stuff that night to, he told security to leave their guns at the hotels even though they didnt want to and the fact they shot only pac and didnt even bother looking at suge makes you wonder cause suge was another big enemy to that set.
Iam born in the 70s and as a Black Hispanic kid in Brooklyn New York I remember wearing Kiss T-shirts….so Tupac is well aware of them. Kiss was like a crazy act more than just the music
Let's shock the people we tier with of beautiful people them 2pac and kiss same stage and I can believe I only saw it in RU-vid oh well I'm.alive and have see it RIP 2pac today the world needs someone like you not afraid to speak to who or whoever and spit oh those good raps
Definitely a memorable moment for hootie and the blowfish. Tupac Shakur up there announcing you one while KISS makes their first appearance with the original members in makeup for the first time in 17 years.
I was backstage working once for a Kiss concert and happened to see Kiss right before they hit the stage and they walked right passed me.. These dudes were like 6'6" or taller, they had like 8 or 9 inches on me..I'm 5'10" Boots with 3-4 inch heels is a part of their costume though..So go figure
