I love this original version it's much raw and it's what Pac was feeling when he wrote and recorded to this instrumental...Pac recorded this song May 2nd 1996 and it was produced by Johnny J
I get chills every time I hear this song after the movie. Knowing it's Pac's last movie and before the credit hits "In Memory of Tupac Shakur 1971-1996" pops up then the song plays. Shed tears a lil after his last performance for us. Make it seem he was still alive in 1997 when he wasn't. But still lives forever. R.I.P. Tupac
that beat in the chorus is so beautiful... He was so good in the movie..at the end he started crying saying "I hate my life" before he died...and this song God was really listening to him scream poetically... 🔥💜🔥💜
"In Memory of Tupac Shakur 1971-1996" Those are the words given at the end of the movie "Gang Related" right before this song comes on. In Memory of Yaki Kadafi 1977-1996 Two Soldiers gone wayy too soon.
BEST TRACK EVER AND FOREVER! I WILL NEVER FORGET THE FEELING I GOT ...WHEN PAC PASSED AND THIS SONG CAME ON DURING THE CREDITS. FIRST 5 SECONDS ALWAYS GETS ME!
This song shows two things. Just how much of a genius Tupac was and how good the production surrounding him during his prolific time at Death Row. He always seemed to record onto a basic version of the music and then the producers worked their magic, it was a great combination, the album version of this song is testament to that
I remember back in the day, before youtube, using some software to get the audio out of the movie and converting it to mp3 just to have this masterpiece on my mp3 player. Awesome song.
@@Makavelithedon64 Hey man how do you know that this was the date it was recorded? I know that Gang Related was recorded during the month of August 1996, so I always assumed the soundtrack was recorded around then.

Multiple gunshots fill the block, the fun stops Niggas is calling cops, people shot, nobody stops I wonder when the world stopped caring Last night two kids shot while the whole block staring I will never understand this society First they try to murder me then they lie to me Product of a dying breed All my homies trying weed Now the little baby's crazed raised off Hennessy Tell me, will my enemies flee when they see me? Believe me, even thugs gotta learn to take it easy Listen, through the intermissions search your heart for a plan And we turning bad boys to grown men, it's on again I give a holla to my niggas in the darkest corners Roll a perfect blunt, and let me spark it for ya One love from a thug nigga Rollin' with a posse full of paranoid drug dealers To the end, my friend I'm seeing nothin' but my dreams coming true While I'm staring at the world through my rearview See, I'm seeing nothin' but my dreams coming true While I'm staring at the world through my rearview They got me They got me Staring at the world through my rearview Go on, baby, scream to God, he can't hear you I can feel your heart beating fast cause it's time to die Getting high, watching time fly And all my motherfuckers Now I was raised as a young black male In order to get paid, forced to make crack sales Caught a nigga so they send me to these overpacked jails In the cell, counting days in this living black hell Do you feel me? Keys to ignition, use at your discretion Roll with a 12 gauge pump for protection Niggas hate me in the section from years of chin-checking Turn to Smith & Wesson war weapons Heavenly Father, I'm a soldier I'm getting hotter cause the world's getting colder Baby, let me hold ya Talk to my guns like they fly bitches All you bustas best to run, look at my bitches! Now I know the answers to the question “Do dreams come true?” Still staring at the world through my rearview I said now I know the answers, “Do dreams come true?” Staring at the world through my rearview
this is the same one as the other version, it was just not really finished to be put on an album when he was alive. tupac wanted to work on the production on this song more so he put it to the side. it really just needed more volume on parts.
I actually heard this version be 4 the remix or Final version I like both the original is way better j remember buying the gang related VHS video and still have it today watched the other day great film with Gridlockd watch that peace.
Tupac shukur is the best artist ever there’s no other than can be as good as him. But 2pac had a roll model to follow an that roll model of his was the prophet of Islam the prophet Muhammed and the god he kept talking about was the god of the Quran. Shukur is an Arabic name it’s one of the name of Allah in the Islamic term shukur means being thankful to god.
