Pac’s ability to attack any beat was unparalleled. He not only had a message to lay down but he had an energy that could never be denied. Everyone listened when that man spit or spoke. 💯🔥

I think this is Pacs best album. It plays all the way through, it's incredibly deep and artful, and there has never been anything like it since.

@11:38 that's why as a New Yorker I had wild love for Pac and still do. Clinton Maximum Security Penitentiary is upstate NY, and he felt it necessary to shout them out on a song this deep. Even through all the east/west drama, Pac kept it G and showed love to NY all the time (except on Hit Em Up of course, which is justifiable imo). You heard Old School. He had real straight from the heart love for NY, because was born and raised in the Bronx. That's why his performance in Juice is so believable because it comes from a real place and real experiences.

The kid that produced that hailmary instrumental was basically a nobody producer that worked in a closet sized room in Death Row.

Fun Fact: after AEOM. He left the glossy Death Row sound provided from Daz, Dre and outside of Johnny J. He used the “low tier” producers that were literally in a room called “The wack room” from Suge. This included the producer Hurt Em Badd (Hail Mary). Pac wanted to create the atmosphere found on this album and began forging this sound before he passed. Pac wanted out of his 3 album contract with Death Row so using whoever he could to churn out records as fast as possible.

That was a beautiful thing about Pac. He would work with anyone. If you had beats that he liked he would work with you. He didn't care if you were popular or not. That's admirable. Real shit.

Its crazy how the mystique and eerie feeling this album had .. especially since the radio still had songs like hit em up and how do you want it still in heavy rotation and this was one of the cds i copped before leaving nyc to move down to ga....and with him who had already passed away gave a very eerie and strange new meaning to posthumous album.
