Some time ago, a user of our community asked me about how to animate a #Sunset using #TupiTube Desk. As I promised to answer that question, I decided to make a detailed video explaining all the procedures required to create the animated illusion of a sunset.

Bro I couldn't select the objects after tweening sun

Hi! The moment you add a tween, the selected object can't be edited as it is attached to the Tween parameters. If you want to release the object to select it and edit it once again, you should remove the tween.

Hello. I was wondering if you had a tutorial on how to export an animation with a transparent background. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Thanks.

The best way you can do it right now is by exporting your animation as a PNG Image Sequence. Then, in the last dialog of the wizard, check the option "Enable Background Transparency". Once you have the sequence exported, you can use any video editor to create the video file of your animation.

Hi! From the library panel you can import images files with these extensions: JPG, PNG and GIF (not animated)

@@dhiranprem98 I was talking about the Animated GIF format. It is not supported by TupiTube. Nevermind, just try to use JPG and PNG files. About the source file of the sunset example, you can find it on tupitube.com. Look for the "Resources" section, there you will find an item called "TupiTube Animation Examples". On that page, there are several source file examples including the "Sunset" animation.

i was not able to apply two tweening for the sun and once one tweening is applied the object is not able to select.and the moon is comming while the background is in morning.

I think is time to try 0.2.14 as the features required for this exercise are available only from that version. ;)

@@sameensap6818 As far as I know, our latest installer is not part of any distribution currently. In fact, it isn't a .deb or .rpm package neither. In the minute 11:10 you can see that I select the stars and then I press the copy/paste buttons on the top toolbar of the workspace. Also, you can use the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V combination to copy/paste the selected objects.

How to make sun fall down curvly is not very clear.

When you define the path for the object you want to move, for every point of the trajectory, you will get two white nodes that you can handle to modify the path, creating curves. Oh yes , Gustav I have a question! After I do a tween for an object , I can't select it anymore (for example , if I do a tween for the sun , going behind the mountains , and I apply the tween , then I click the object selection and try to select , but it doesn't work.) Do you know why?

Hi Keendify. The limitation that you described occurs in old versions of TupiTube Desk. You should try to install the latest installer (0.2.18). 🤓

This is some awesome looking software just spent the past hour watching tutorials on it. I am going to try my hand at a bit of animation for my channel. I have been wanting to make an animation for a while but didn't want to shell out for adobe flash.

How to draw the moon?

This is the procedure that I followed: 1. Open the Color Palette and select the border color and the fill color for the moon 2. Pick the "Line Tool" from the left toolbar 3. Draw a basic shape of the moon on the canvas 4. Pick the "Nodes Editor" from the left toolbar and select the moon object 5. Adjust the segments of your moon until you get the shape you want

@@suopingren1430 If you want to, you could use the "Pencil Tool" directly to draw the moon, so you don't have to edit the nodes. Of course, if you are using a mouse and not a pen table, in any case it will be a little harder.

To hide the sun behind the mountain, the sun must be included in the Layer behind the Layer containing the mountains. If the sun is either in the same Layer of the mountains or in the Layer forward, then you won't be able to "hide" the sun. As you may notice, the order of the Layers matters.

@@heysunshine4486 To hide the sun is key to use layers. The layer containing the mountains must be over the layer containing the sun. In this way, when the sun goes down, it will be behind the mountains.
