Extraordinarily beautiful, awe-inspiring, breathtaking and uplifting version that makes my heart race, and the adrenaline flow. I can't understand how only 2,328 have come across this Pavarotti classic. I love it, and can listen to it over & over again.
Just feel sorry for those others who don't know this work of pure genius. My favorite tenor, Pavarotti (and, whenever he sang with Mirella Freni, ahhhh.). Zubin Mehta conducted a production called "Turandot in the Forbidden City". We have it on DVD. A wonderful production. Sergei Larin sang the part of Prince Calaf. WOW!
guido greco Corelli was not a dramatic tenor. Pavarotti was successful with the role when he sang it, but didn't sing it more times because it did hurt his voice.
Truly magnificent. But the more I am listening this, the more convincing that nobody overcomes Franco Corelli in this particular piece. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WSu78h1UoSs.html Luciano probably is too slight for it.
