My comment may be a little late. One thing that is overlooked when installing sleeves on a 2zz-ge is the 4 relief cuts per upper cylinder wall, 16 total. The cuts are made on the sleeves themselves and are to increase air flow.
Yeah i talked to dave and mrw mrw states its not needed dave stated the same but dave at ddpr said he doest them on the blocks he builds im still not sure if ima do it or no as MRW has made over 800 with out them on track cars.
@@zero_to_1000 idk compression is 9:5 and its set for 45psi of boost ifk what size turbo but enough to produce 900+ and i have 4 friends with sleeved 2 zz with more than 70,000 miles on them holding up fine not one issue my engine build costed over $80k bro so i dont think ill have any issues and it took 2 years to build it and even meet the owner of darton and they guy to designed the sleeves its been a journey but i think my shit will be fine its a full blue printed build
