Me and my dad both never blew a belt and we both put on 2000 miles before we put new pistons in not because it needed it but safe than sorry. They then got another 1000 miles on them and then we sold tjem
@@Ry_Pox thanks for the response! I have a 20 800 I’m contemplating turboing for the ‘more fun factor’ haha. I just don’t want to deal with constant issues, pull and go would be awesome!
Boondocker with a tunnel dump. It’s a great kit no issues with the sled put about 2k miles on it never blew a belt or had any issues with blowing up the motor. But you definently need a good clutch kit to go with it. I can’t remember but I think it was a different primary spring stock weights and a different helix. We like to run them to 8,450-8,500 rpm usually. So if you do put one on I’d try to get close to the rpm’s range instead of the stock 8,250 that extra 200-300rpms makes an insane difference when pulling a hill.
Stock weights a different helix that I don’t remember stock springs in the clutches. It was a boondocker kit that adjusts from 2-7psi based off of elevation and they run about 200hp on pump gas. (It was an older boondocker kit with a tunnel dump not the new agility setup)
